Can I run MS on a netbook?

My laptop just broke and won't turn on, so I have a netbook that I use for school as a back-up. I wasn't too sure if I could run MS on it so I won't waste my time trying to download it. Here are the specs of my Netbook: Intel Atom 1.6 GHz (1.7 GHz) 1 GB ram Intel GMA 3150 160 GB hard drive (5400 RPM) Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit)

I had the same thing and I wasn't able to run it i always got an error that wasn't fixable unless i got a higher screen resolution.

I can run it on my Dell Mini10v with these specs: Intel Atom 1.6 GHz 1 GB ram Intel GMA 950GM 160 GB hard drive (5400 RPM) Windows XP (32-bit) The thing is though, I alter my resolution before running Maple.

Yes, but performance may be a little slow. The CPU and graphics card are not that great, the RAM is very low for Windows 7, it meets the bare minimum RAM requirement for 7, so that will also be an issue as well. Nevertheless it meets MS' hardware requirements.

@TS : You SHOULD be able to run it, but dear god, windows 7 with 1GB RAM ? It might lag as hell unless your settings to windows 7 services are all turned off. Vista itself takes up 1GB ram, i heard 7 takes 1.5 to 2. I don't know :/

frozenmeaty : Well it was on the highest setting i could put it at on my hp mini 110 netbook and the only solution *according to google* was using a program to make the screen resolution bigger which didnt work either

I don't know :/ [/quote] Well, the netbook didn't come with Windows 7, it came with Linux Ubuntu 10.04 and I manually installed Windows 7 32-bit even though my netbook doesn't have a DVD disk slot.

i use a Toshiba netbook that i got off new egg. it runs maple fine, but its got 2gigs of ram and its windows XP its pretty much lag free, except for when im in ch1 fm.

I think system 32 isn't deletable >.> Can't your netbook be 800x600 or greater?
