I can't play GMS anymore?

I haven't played GMS for like 2 months now, and like when I try to update it, I click on the application, and nothing seems to come up, i try to restart my computer several times nothing comes up, i tried to use the Patch application, it downloads the whole patch, but at the end there is an error saying that the exe file failed to download. I am using Windows 7, please could any of you guys help me?

Delete it off the computer(uninstall) and download it again

CTRL-ALT-DEL, close MapleStory.exe, then run the manual patch.

This happens when you are multiple patches behind the current patch the the newest patch doesn't have enough info to update you to the newest one. It happened to me when i wasn't on for 4 months. hope i helped

ive been trying to enter MS for like 15 min but no luck. i always go in through the website and im OK, but now i press Start Game and the HackShield icon appears, but the green bar doesnt load (it usually takes like 5 secs to load completely) boo cant play MS

Go to C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc and look for the hosts FILE. If you see something that looks like gameguard, put a # before that line. If it asks you what to open it with, use Notepad.
