Or any other girl besides vietnamese. So yeah. She said there will be language barriers and that she doesn't like them. I told her that was ignorant and that I love who ever I want to love and I love them for their personality,not what they are. So what are your thoughts basil? What should I do or say to her My mom is a very motherly mom so she's protective of me. My plan is just stop talking to her ):< (which works a lot of the time)

Your mom can't make the decisions on who you can date, so I guess you can just not talk to her.. or at least tell her that if she actually cares for you as a mother, she would let you choose whoever you want to date. You can't be happy if you let her do everything for you.
