at my school a lot of people are wearing silly bandz and alot of kids are buying huge packs and trading them. i think they are becoming a new trend. i go to a grade 7-12 school.

Lmfao your school is soo slow. Kids in my school started wearing them around maybe i think April or May? I just recently got my first silly band from my awesome friend! ITS A RAINBOW UNICORN.

It became a fad, then it became obsessive. Now it has just gone into the phase where it is just daily accessory wear. No one wears like 50 at them at a time, now they try and match it with their clothes haha. Its kinda cool now.

Yeah, it was really bad earlier this year, then it cooled down. I only wear ONE because my friend gave it to me before he moved to Cali.

In my opinion, they're the most useless trend ever. Like seriously...you're paying money for rubber bands? o_o And don't say they're cool because they're "colorful" and "in different shapes and sizes." Sure, when I first saw them they were pretty cool...but only for ten seconds. Then I got bored.
