[/quote] At that point with Vegeta using Gallet Gun I don't think he cared. It was more of, "If I can't win while being alive, you sure as heck aren't going to survive to tell anyone!" Also when we apply this at the end of Dragon Ball I'm sure Vegeta/Goku could easily destroy a planet and get to the next no problem. Anohter thing is Superman's powers are conditional. He needs a yellow sun, what if Goku just took out the sun? I mean Piccolo with his power level under Raditz blew up the moon (it would have if it wasn't fake), and in Dragon Ball we see Master Roshi's power level 100 take out the moon. Superman can't hope to win against Goku. Has anyone ever seen Superman survive a nuke? We get that a missile, bullet, fire, can't hurt him, but have you ever figured nuke? How is it Superman can survive every bit of alien tech out there? He's just very durable since he has been seen to feel pain. Superman can die, Goku can just ask the ruler of the universe Kabito Kai if he can visit earth.

Superman = brawler with super powers and near invincibility (except for kryptonite) Goku = martial artist with well trained body, extremely good senses, isn't 100% invincible but always seems to win it back somehow when protecting Earth i'd go with Goku anyday. superman might have the invincibility but he can't match Goku's ability in combat. have u seen how fast they fight and throw punches in DBZ? its insane

But what about the rests of the Saiyans like Bardock (they blew up planets and stuff as well, heck even Cui and the Ginyu Force did, did but they're not Saiyans. I just can't see any fictional character beating Goku. Except maybe for Galactus and the like. Can Superman actually destroy planets? EDIT: On second thoughts, maybe Superman is stronger than I thought. Apparently, he can fly up to many times the speed of light and lift whole planets.
