Banned for "The Hack Reason"

To make things simple, I'm walking around Masteria, doing quests and hunting when BAM, http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/6297/19273001.jpg suddenly pops up. I am 100% legit and do NOT use any hacks. This is the 2nd it's happened to me already; 1st time I accidentally closed the message window. Why is that this happened and has this ever happened to you, and if it has, how often? Please vote in poll below. Sorry about my fail to upload pics properly. Edit 1 : You know how after receiving the BAN message, Nexon dc's you from MS? The same thing happened, but luckily it provides time for a SS, so I don't get "SS or it didn't happen."

Popular wisdom is that it's some hacker messing with you. It's not an official Maple Story thing. BTW- it doesn't say you were BANNED, it says you're being disconnected. It's a "d/c hack".

I always get d/ced when I cc alot with energy charge (and kill monsters by touch), same happens to my friend on his aran when he's using bp, so I assume this is some kind of action Nexon took against BP hacks.

Happened to me twice and I d/ced. I freaked out because I was 119 at skeles but I was able to relog back in with no problem

BobR Seriously? Wow, hackers have gone really far with their hacking/hacks. If it's not official, this is truly insane -_-. AznRayku Sorry, you're correct, it's DC, but still, pretty annoying if I can't use BP w/o dcing. Invictinite Thx for informing me about this issue =D

It's always been there in masteria. Back in October of last year, the Auto-ban system went completely haywire, and anyone training at Path of Peril got auto banned. It happened right as a 2x event ended, and over 62,000 people across every world in GMS got auto-banned, including me. They never fixed it, just simply un-banned all of the players and compensated them 10,000 maple points. It's pretty much become commonplace around the Halloween event. EDIT: GMS is the only version I know of that's implemented the Auto-Ban system. Note: Hackers can't send NPC messages.

I get it often on my aran when I use body pressure and/or too much combat step while moving from map to map. Especially when walking up to zak's door.

I'm really hoping the "Big Bang" rewrite of the game code will address garbage like this. Little misanthropes can't play a game without screwing with other people. @ XaviAce- but the AutoBan system BANS you- it doesn't just disconnect you. People who get this can log in again right away- they're not banned.
