Okay, well lately, maplestory hasn't been working on my laptop. Everytime I attempt to open maplestory, the window indicating that there is a server check pops up. I have tried changing compatibility, but it isn't working. I've tried turning off my firewall, but that is not the case either. Has anyone else had this problem, and has found a solution?

I've logged a ticket, but nothing so far. Im also on W7 if that helps

Has it ever worked on it before or just recently started messing up? I'd check any programs you have recently installed if it was working before

It started to not work the day before the Hoblin King patch. I also deleted most programs installed around that period. And how exactly can I restore my computer? Installing Maple again doesnt work either.

Just get EVERYTHING of nexon off your computer, put a bom on nexon (J,K) but the first thing then download maple and instal it =)

As I said, restore your computer. Google "how to restore my computer"...

Can't, the furthest back I can restore is after my computer went haywire.

If it's W7, try to get a friend to lend you a Vista disk to downgrade it.

The problem to fix it is this, YOU BETTER READ IT ! First, you click "START" > Right Click on "My Computer" > Click on device manager somewhere on the left bar > Click on "Network Adapters" > Disable "Microsoft Loopback Adapter" HOPE THIS WORKS =D

ok ive had this problem so what i did is i deleted all files of maple story like all of them no exceptions and then downloaded the new client and then reinstalled it on my pc and the MS worked for me again

This happened on my W7 computer, and it woudlnt' work until the next server check, soo you should just wait until the server check tomorrow.
