Anyone playing JMS nowadays?

I'm kind of "desperate" for friends (not really the word I want to use, but okay...). I own a guild in the server of Keyaki and I can add you to it if you're in Keyaki. The only things I require of you are that you either speak SOME Japanese or are attempting to learn it and that you're absolutely respectful to all Japanese players. You're playing in THEIR game. There's no reason for you to even be the sightest bit rude to anyone. We demand the absolute highest respect for the Japanese community and, if necessary, not to even speak English in open chat (some players may be offended by it -- though extremely rare). Ediquette is the strictest requirement in our community. Watch yourself very closely. I'm not going to be there hand-for-hand to translate every single thing for you. I've done that in the past for people and it really not worth the stress, especially when those people don't care to learn the language and they tend to quit down the road anyway... Another thing, which isn't NECESSARY but I really, really, really hope for, is that you're dedicated to playing and desire to strive for higher levels. Things we can do in JMS if there are higher level players in our little community are things like Future Tokyo boss runs, Zakum, Horntail, Dragon Rider PQ, etc. I have many Japanese friends who have good connections that can easily get us into such things. I've been there before and it's really fun. Note : I'm not sure when Big Bang will arrive in JapanMS. I really hope it's soon so more people can get to higher levels easier for a faster growing community.

Well i'm going to study japanese in university next year, and i also do have a JMS account tho the latency really bothers me and it just doesnt feels like worth spending/time and money on an account thats not officially mine :/ as i hadda use fake residence and such i assume u reside in the US/EU? hows your latency lately?

I'm half Japanese and I can speak the language but I was never taught how to read/write. ._." I also attempted to play JMS before but it got too confusing so I just gave up.

I wish I could further play in Keyaki, but it is extremely difficult when you are down to like 3k in meso and can't afford potions. When Big bang comes around (chances are, around next year), I will join back. It would allow me to require less potions and money to train and I will probably have a lot better vocabulary by then (Tomorrow, I have a practice speaking assessment so learning a bit of colloquial language). For the time being, I shall keep up to date with you until then ;) Ganbaru! Nebaru! Edit: I may even be able to get some NX if I manage to get over to Japan ;) Edit2: Do you post the JMS patches on Ellinforest? Edit3: I was forced to un-install JMS because of the fact that it muddled up with my GMS folder as well so trying to play GMS would automatically make me play JMS. Anyway to seperate the two?

You change the install folder when it prompts you where to install. Don't put it in Nexon.

I'd do it but my vocab isn't huge. An example in English would be, "I need a synopsis of the book immediately," which I would not understand. You'd have to make it more simply and literal such as, "I want average story of book now." You couldn't even use, "overall," because I know that few words.... I barely know enough to read the interesting facts on my gundam kit boxes.... =O

I quit a while back; No one plays Kaede anymore :| Japanese. As for how far ahead jMS is...gMS is ahead of us (we don't have chaos bosses yet..) and i assume gMS is going to get Big Bang earlier than us. Although our cash shop is much more amazing-er than gMS :P EDIT: I DID NOT KNOW DISCUSSING IP BLOCK WAS A BANABLE OFFENSE.

I can read, type, and speak Japanese. I just can't figure out how to play JMS. If you can give me a step-by-step procedure on changing my IP or whatever it takes to play JMS, I would love to play in Keyaki and join your guild. EDIT: I just used the Proxifier program to register my JMS account. I just need a step-by-step instruction on how to download it and what to move and what not. I still want to continue my GMS account also so I don't want the JMS files to overlap GMS files.

Well I have like almost no experience in reading, writing or speaking Japanese but I do want to play JMS! I started for a bit yesterday and dang, it's hard not knowing how to read anything haha XD. I'm not too far ahead of the game so if you don't mind, I can come to Keyaki. I don't mind learning a few things at all . Lucky me that I live in Australia, and they didn't IP Block me. XD

I joined awhile ago in keyaki but for some reason jms d/c more often compared to gms. I might rejoin however my japanese is quite limited. BTW i'm from Australia, so theres no ip block unless they've patched that up during my absence.
