Do they newest ipods ever go on sale?

I currently want to buy the newest Ipod touch 4g. But, my parents keep trying to convince me there is always a sale for it. (Such as black friday, the day before thanks giving) (At my walmart here, its shows up as 395$ is this cheap?) <<< EDIT: the 64gb Is there any sales for it? Or should i buy it now.

Wow. Very expensive. They have the iTouch 4g here in Wal-Mart for $250. And no, they only go on sale when a new version comes out, if even then.

But other than that, it's rare to find Apple products on sale. Maybe (REALLY RARE) they give you a 20$ gift card, but that's about it. Another thing is that Apple stores give out free iPods for college students as long as they buy a Macbook =/

It's usually not allowed to go on sale but they can throw in other stuff as incentives if you're purchasing something like a computer. OT: I'm pretty sure they never go on sale because of Apples rule as I've stated above... unless a newer generation comes out. I'm no too sure about the effects of Black Friday on Apple products because I live in Canada... and never go to the states for Black Friday.

Also, do those apple music gift cards work on the ipods?
