New Bowmaster and some advice

Well as the title says I hit bowmaster, but it was this past friday. I made this thread because lately there has been a number of posts about rangers losing the motivation to train, especially when they are in their 11Xs. I gotta say that a BM is pretty sweet, hurricane + SE is awesome, even with my crap equips. It's definitely worth it to suck it up and train to 120, if not for the fact that the game gets a whole lot better at 4th job. Even though I am still lvling my cb, I like playing my ranger alot more now; I can't wait until I get DB and Phoenix. So for all the rangers who are losing/lost motivation, push through because it's worth it.

lv 94 and newts is gettin slow and therefore gettin bored =(

Above Newts do get pretty slow if you're soloing on 1x, took me months to get from 110 - 114 lol. Then one week i decided i really wanted to level, so i got some nx, and solo trained and got to 114 - 116 on 2/4x in 2 days and then the next day i trained with a good party and got from 116 - 120, in a few hours on 2/4x. So moral of the story, train in a party, it helps a lot, especially if you have terrible equips like me.

I forgot to mention that I used family 2x buff (both solo and party buff) pretty much every day from lvl 105 and on, so that really helped with leveling. If there's an event, get a 4hr card to get 4x; 4x is soo much exp, I gained 54% in a half hour at typhons at lvl 119.

well im 111. been there for a month. i cant train because of school and sports during the weekend or week, but when the holidays come around, ill be at 120 in a week. :P

I'm about 10 lvls into the bowmasters path (129 85%) and ill tell ya now. Theirs nothing quite like running through mobs at almost full speed blasting out arrows as fast as your finger can hit the button. I cannot wait for big bang as it double hurricane damage and its already a powerhouse. I hit so many 22Ks right now that I'm drooling at the thought of seeing that well over triple as I keep leveling hurricane and watch the BB come. BM rocks

I love doing the walking Hurricane attack, so cool. On a side note: where do you train? I trained at typhons from 78-120, but am stuck as to where to go. I went to newts, but it took forever; I've been doing ToT quests.

Im probly way more funded then you my damage/hp is quite far above average so I was training on skeles from 110-now mostly, I have done a few stints in the ToT, but Im only up to the qualm monks so its quite crappy yet.

HAHAHA Well, I once had a lvl 74 xbow and was hacked and decided to go with bow, got bored around lvl 40 quit for a while made a slinger and I'm not back on the path of a BM, so for someone who is basically brand new to this where do you recommend I train, cause right now i've been doing a few quests and party questing...

Skeles is better for me now than where I am in ToT. Especially since I can park my hs and hb mules on a rope. From what I've heard though OB4/OB5 is probly the best exp potential for me through normal mobs but I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle of ten more lvls on my hs mule and then start all the 999s over
