Girl assaulted while jogging at night, whose fault is it?

If a girl goes jogging in a sketchy neighborhood at midnight, and three guys jump her and assault her, whose fault is it? This happened by my University last night.

The guy's fault for assaulting. I don't victim blame and I too have gone jogging at night. One would think a University campus would be safe enough and patrolled enough. Women shouldn't have to live in fear that someone out there will attack them so stay inside our whole lives at night.

Hmm, I wonder. If someone told me they had $400 on them, and I assaulted/robbed/killed them to get the money, would it be the other persons fault?
