I'm a little bored during this SC, so I thought I might make a help thread Post your problems here, and other experienced users or I will try our best to help you out. I'll add a FAQ here slowly as well. Any suggestions for this thread are appreciated, I'll do my best to keep it alive. Ask away! Haven't been adding much lately - been a bit busy. I'll get to it soon. (F)requently (A)sked (Q)uestions Training Areas 1-10 ~ Maple Island! Should get you up to level 10 quickly enough. 10-15 ~ Henesy PQ. Easy to do, especially if a high level guildie or buddy is in your party. 15-21 ~ Henesy PQ if you don't wish to grind, otherwise head over to Octopus in the hidden map "Caution Falling Down" In Kerning city. 21-25 ~ Kerning PQ, should be easy enough. 25-31 ~ Assuming you have SSK, Dusty Platform PQ is a very good source of EXP, otherwise head back to KPQ. 31-51 ~ Carnival PQ is your best choice, EXP for winning and EXP from grinding. Room 5/6 is very good until you get a good level of Invisible Shot. 51-55 ~ Carnival PQ 2 is decent through these levels, just while you get a bit stronger to MP3.
Billionaire : By the way a good place to train at LV5x now that a lot of people overlook is in Kerning Square. Lots of flat maps with decent EXP there, and not ridiculously crowded. I trained my DB there during 2x events and I hardly saw anyone else.
55-65 ~ Mysterious Path 3 is a very good source of EXP for a long while, you could even go into your 7X's here! 65-8X ~ Jesters or Windraiders here. Jesters, if you wish to be lazy, stand on the pipe and snipe with invisible shot, or if you can stand grinding, go to Windraiders! 8X-120 ~ As soon as you feel your strong enough to go to Newties, head over there and snipe snipe snipe till 4th job.
lumbie : I trained at gobies, squids and ToT from level 80 to 120. Gobies requires a build with level 26 splitter and 30 flamethrower.
120-125ish ~ Once you hit 4th, I reccommend you get 1ship and 1 torp, then you can go to gallos. Not only is it a change from Newts, but it is slightly better. 125+ ~ Not much here. You can skele if you wanna grind, kill some bosses(Headless Horseman) as some of those are a good source of EXP, such as Anego in your 13X's. Zak Arm is another option, that could net you some nice EXP. Any suggestions to this training guide are appreciated Skill Builds Pirate Build 10 ~ 1 Double shot 11 ~ 4 Double shot 12 ~ 7 Double shot 13 ~ 10 Double shot 14 ~ 13 Double shot 15 ~ 16 Double shot 16 ~ 19 Double shot 17 ~ 20 Double shot - 2 Somersault Kick 18 ~ 20 Double shot - 5 Somersault Kick 19 ~ 20 Double shot - 8 Somersault Kick 20 ~ 20 Double shot - 11 Somersault Kick 21 ~ 20 Double shot - 14 Somersault Kick 22 ~ 20 Double shot - 17 Somersault Kick 23 ~ 20 Double shot - 20 Somersault Kick 24 ~ 20 Double shot - 20 Somersault Kick - 3 Dash 25 ~ 20 Double shot - 20 Somersault Kick - 6 Dash 26 ~ 20 Double shot - 20 Somersault Kick - 9 Dash 27 ~ 20 Double shot - 20 Somersault Kick
madde : Don't add wrath of octopie and airstrike until at least lvl 125 Reason : You want to maximize your dmg asap so by adding wrath of octopie and airstrike you have to w8 one more lvl to get 4shots in your cannon which increases your dmg significantly
I added them really early. Didn't hurt. You don't NEED to maximise your damage as soon as possible, you CAN just add some fun skills. Remember, you've just gone through 120 levels very slowly, and some people might find things like a seagull bomb to be quite amusing lol. I know I did! :P

I'm honored to actually be referenced in any sort of guide. Thank you. I feel as though I still need to elaborate on my point about beacon though. I think putting a point at 71 is best because right after you make 3rd job, your burst fire is weak as crap, or in other words, it takes the most hits to kill at any time in your maple life. Having Homing on your target means that when you are training, you will ALWAYS be able to put the full 5 shots on target before the stun from blank shot runs out, regardless of obstacles. Put another way, even if another monster gets/ spawns in the path of your bullets, you can keep shooting your original target until it is dead, and THEN start on the impediment. This keeps the number of targets that you will potentially have to Blank Shot to a minimum by killing ONLY one monster at a time, thus potentially saving you pots by minimizing the chance that you will be overrun by aggravated monsters.

@madde No one gets to 120 and doesnt get those fun skills. :P If you wanted to be seriously serious you could, but your gonna level slow regardless of your damage. @destroyer416 There isn't much other than CPQ, as you can grind in there as well as get EXP for winning. If you can get free wins and get rombots or trojans that would be excellent. @Halfhearted Haha! Pleasure to include you. :P But seriously, if this is more user directed then it has alot more info than if it was made by just me. I appreciate all the suggestions so far!

Having 21 Torp is going to leave you 2 Hitting Skeles(depending on your equips too). But the difference between 21 and 30 could change your training options (1 Hitting Gallops, Killing O4 in 1-2 less Torp, etc.) Bossing with level 1 Ship is viable, but 9 more points would make a huge difference. I couldn't give a cookie cutter build unless I saw someones current equips. Depending on what luck you have with potential determines how you can place your points most effectively.

To 1 hit gallos with max torp requires a 5.5k range - extremely hard to get in the lower levels, but in the higher ones when you DO have torp, not so much. O4 monsters have 141k HP. Assuming you have a range of 4.5k, your hitting either 31k(LV21) or 35k(LV30). Assuming you hit max everytime, your still needing to hit 5 times. 9 more in torp will definetly make a difference, but is that difference really worth it is the question. You could put those points into bullseye, giving you a chance to boss, into ship so it lasts longer. Food for thought...

Could I get a price check on a 114 W.ATT +4 STR, +14 HP Concerto. U/H with the potential stats: 3% W.ATT and +50 HP. And when BB comes, should I put a point into Torpedo to train at Gallos? Or will Gallos become different?

Your guide is pretty decent, similar to my own planned build. Just to make a slight improvement however, you should try rephrasing the forumla "130(Level) - 120 = 10 * 2,000 = 20,000 + 4,000(Battleship) = 24,000" When reading the formula I was slightly confused (my thoughts being: 130 x level - 120 = 24000?) At least, that's how I read the equation. I have a suggestion for you however. What I suggest: 2000(Level - 120) + ShipLevelHP = Battleship HP Its a little more crisp and user friendly, so that others can plug in their attributes. Again, just a suggestion. Take it or leave it

The formula I wrote was (ShipLevel*4000)+((CharLevel-120)*2000). The one SerpentzWrath wrote is a bit wrong anyway. You don't say what numerical value ShipLevelHP has lol.

@maaaaaason Whats the W.ATK on it? Otherwise I have no idea. You should be fine training at gallos at 120 after BB, so add one in @SerpentzWrath Thanks for your suggestion But I'll be using Billionaires @Billionaire Thanks for the correction, adding it in now.

Oh, I thought I added the attack. It's 114 W.ATT. And thanks. I screwed up (added a point in RF), so I'm just waiting till BB comes to get a skill reset. :o

I just lag a little when I spam it. I would rather have Cannon over RF at 120 though. EDIT: Whoops, did I say Cannon? I meant Torpedo.
