Why do people type like this?

They use words like "chu,gawd,wai,hai,leik" Why? It doesn't make the word any shorter. It actually makes it longer in most cases. Also here's an example of someone who overuses this a little too much. NO EFFING WAI. You lie you half asian. o-o What? o-o, isnt that at the end of the year? o-o Oh really? o-o wtfudge? o-o. I have all 95+ gawd hates me. LOLOL. I hate chu you kiet or you vorean. Yeah.. those were his comments on facebook. (Obviously there are other comments in between but that'll take to long. So yeah tell me why you think people type like that because I'm lost.

never heard of "WAI" or "chu" but they do it for fun if u read it the pronounciation is different

i only use "chu" if i say "pikachu" or "whatchu talkin' 'bout , willis ?" i say "gawd" if .. idk . i hardly say it . i usually say "omg" instead .

It's sorta an informal tone. I don't know if other people feel this way, but I generally feel more comfortable around people who use "Oh hai :D" rather than "Greetings" Stuff like "O rly" are jokes. When someone says that, the correct response is "Ya rly" That's all I can contribute at the moment. Don't think me immature >
