Am i a hopeless DK?

hey guys, i have a lvl 74 DK with a 45 base dex. i have recently quit for about a year maybe? (10 months..idk) and have decuded to come back. out of my whole maple life, i have only played on 2 characters, a priest and a dk. my priest is 97 but hella boring. i have a 74 DK as stated above, that i would like to continue. my friend is telling me that im an idiot to continue a 45 base dex dk, but i wanna hear from the BM community what they think. should i continue or not continue? EQUIPS---- 8 dex 12 jump sandals. 2 dex earrings (FAIL) upgrade to...? zhelm clean 8 attk bwg 19 dex crusader overall 91 attk 16 str maple SCORPIO. (upgrade?) 2 attk black raggedy cape 5k nx 300m pure mesos. HELP PLEASE?

After Big Bang (super big patch) accuracy is useless. Just use pure str equips and whatnot, 45 dex isn't the end of the world anyways

so after this BB? acc wont be needed? so dont bother with acc earrings and etc...just str equips?

No, you are not screwed like many people may say. You could simply be better, however. I would suggest buying a number of things, choose which best suit you and your price range: %str equips, 10 atk wg, acc earrings, pac, better weapon (go for karstan or level 70 polearm). All of these will make you significantly stronger, thus making up for ~40str.

You could try and get a 105+ attack karsten. Try and get some potential %STR stuff. Most important for you right now. -Better weapon. -a % str cape. (PACs are a useless waste of money) -a better glove (atleast 12 attack or it'd be useless to upgrade) Any upgrade that gives you +%STR is the best, all you need is STR STR STR STR STR STR STR STR STR.

Pure str. is the way to go. 41 points into str is only about what, 500 atk.? If you fall behind like 500 atk., it's no point to start over. 500 atk. isn't much after BB anways. EDIT: Right now you need accuracy, so I'm not sure what to do. Dex equips will be worth a lot less after BB, unless they're common.

High dex base isn't a terrible thing, it just means you can go for a arcglaive rather then a sky ski.

I would restart.. I mean sometimes restarting is fun anyways especially if youve been gone for 10 months. Restart and make a really good dk. And also you can learn what youve missed.
