Area Boss drops? O_o

Earlier this week I had been obsessively hunting Deo for the Flaming Katana, as Basil has listed it drops it, and people have confirmed throughout various google'd websites. Now I've come to discover that King Klang drops a blue seal cushion? Now as I already have a very absurd chair addiction, I was wondering just how rare these boss drops are, even with a 4x drop rate, or even if they drop them at all (have I been lololtrolled?). I mean lets be fair, if you could hunt these things and consistently get them that'd be a bit, well silly, wouldn't it? Thoughts? Comments?

I knew that Deo dropped flaming katana. I tried for about 2 weeks. half of the time on 2-4x. Nothing. I tried for the same amount of time on king clang (for scrolls) with 2-4x and nothing. But uuuh good luck~ oh ya i trained on Faust for a fishing pole for 2 months. about 20 times a day, nothing.
