How do you use a Playstation 3 controller on Maple?

I plugged it in, and it says in the configuration menu, Button 1~12. What are these buttons? (Like, what's X, L1, L2, etc..)

I think you need an extra program for it. Probably XPADDER and the sync from ps3 remote to maple. It only "detects that the remote is there" but doesn't prove that it will work.

That's always been my main concern. I don't want to get auto banned or anything stupid just for running a "third party" program Nexon doesn't approve of. It's not worth using my ps3 controller if there's any chance of that happening... Do a lot of people run this program with MS? Does the program get along well with MS? Any insight would be awesome,

No No No you don't need to install that crap.... If your computer/laptop already recognized the controller head into controll panel and find the game controller area and once you are in there click onto properties and a window should pop up and when you press a button on the ps3 controller the corisponding number should light up.
