A few Christian thoughts which scare me.

A) The concept of heaven The reason we live and die on Earth is to give us a limited amount of time to do things. In heaven, we have eternity to do anything to our hearts content. Yet after 100,200, maybe even 5000 years, we'll get to a point where we've done and are bored of everything. On Earth, we'd be in retirement, waiting for death. But in heaven, you're not dead nor alive, and you're just there. This thought scares me. Similarly, what if I was in heaven, and my friends were not. How could I be in eternal bliss knowing my friends aren't here. Or vice versa? B) Explaining Christianity to people How am I able to explain to people that God is made of 3 beings which all make up God and are the same person yet we only have one God, made up of 3? Better yet, how do I explain to people about this mad book called the bible. It talks about the story of some Good guy who's in somewhat of a fight with a bad guy, and overall, the bad guy kills 10 people whereas the Good guy kills over 2 million. Doesn't make sense~

You will more than likely get responses such as "LOLCHRISTINIATY" considering the majority or a large amount of basil are atheists. I myself am a christian. The fact is really, whatever we choose to believe, be it chrisitianity, atheism or anything else, they all have flaws because we don't know everything.

The concept of heaven being eternal bliss imo, is rather metaphorical, in the sense that what the bible mentioned about eternal life and what not is more of a subtle message to something else. Although of course these are just my thoughts, from my opinion, heaven offers one peace of mind and calmness contrary to the forever blissful life you shall have in floating clouds with pretty white wings. The bible, just as any other book, is a conglomerate of ideas written by various authors. The tricky part in the bible was that testimonials and content of each part of the bible matched all other parts of it written in different parts of the world regardless of the language and culture barrier. Christianity doesn't need to explain itself to those who do not wish to follow, and the same would apply to people of different religions. Christianity and other beliefs in my opinion, is something a person should choose to believe on his own accord and not because a person was born as one.

Yeah but as clich� as it sounds, the world needs balance. Just as the economy will not function when its always in boom, or always in bust nor will it do well when its in perfect equilibrium. We need life to be constantly swinging with good and bad. Eternal peace of mind and calmness can only last so far in "eternity". Hell if you gave me an extra 100 years on Earth, I'd probably shoot myself halfway through due to sheer boredom of what could be done. As for explaining Christianity, its one of our goals to spread the Gospel. However if someone was to come and tell me that Water is one thing in 3 forms of ice, steam and water, yet all 3 was the same thing essentially, I'd be confused out of my mind and would be shut off

Also, at the water being 1 of the 3 forms, all three forms are made up of the same thing (H2O) Unless you believe God is made up of flesh and bones, then that's not really a valid analogy.

[/quote] How long can you be positive for? How long can a spoilt kid be spoilt for? How much can you enjoy immortality for? God is both The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit - 3 entities, yet the same thing.
