Why durability Nexon?

Why is Nexon adding durability? http://maplestory.nexon.net/News/Events.aspx?boardNo=200&contentNo=009dT&pageIndex=1 (Official Site) This isn't Zenonia 1 or 2, I don't want to have to carry around 5 billion items to help me repair something. What the heck is wrong with them. Or am I just overreacting way too much.

The durability doesn't really do much, it just makes you go to an NPC once in a while. I don't really get the point of it...

Your just overreacting. The items last a very long time and you can repair them for a few mill mesos at any npc that makes ores and stuff.

They're adding it because the items are really good. It's only on some items.

You're late. Durability has been out for a while on some weapons (the level 105 ones).

I'm pretty noob at this durability stuff. First I've heard of it. How much exactly does it cost to repair? And if it reaches 0 Durability, does it break fully or just become unusable?

only thing sucks is you cant scroll these. However, you can pot these as well as us chaos scrolls. So it might not be that bad afterall.

I must've been away when they implemented this. As lBishopXl said, do these break or become unusable when they reach 0%? I just find it stupid that they add this.

The worst part is durable gears require tablets which drop off major bosses only >_> And the tablets have lower rates of success everytime you use them successfully unlike scrolls. I have seen 9% HP potential on Rose earrings before. No stats but atleast not annoying requirement of tablets.
