Anyway, all the latest consoles are bumping up onto the motion control bandwagon and the Wii is rereleasing their motion controller. Halo Reach, what do you think of it? Is it the last Halo game? Portable gaming, will it get better? What are your guys' views on all this? Disclaimer: This thread cannot be moved to the Fun section as it is not fun, but serious.(I'm talking to you mods.)

Halo : Reach is HOPEFULLY the last one; I really don't want them to keep making more and screwing up the reputation. Especially now that Bungie isn't working for Microsoft anymore. I'll settle for Map Packs and Expansions. As for portable games... NEW FIRE EMBLEM GAME PLEASE And can anyone say "Xbox Portable OS1"? Maybe it'll do better than the Zune (lolol)

Personally I think motion controlling is a way into the future, it's a step into new technology where you can do things virtually but not do them IRL. Though I do think that the traditional style of controllers should always be kept because some games would be just stupid with motion controlling. As for portable gaming i really want to see what nintendo has in store besides 3D, since there's not really any way to go further unless you make the devices more compact. Halo reach as for their last game? Don't think so they might continue the story to Onyx like they did with Halo ODST. Onyx would be an expansion to halo 2 and continue the story with the spartan program. BLACK OPS: is staged during the MODERN ERA not during the vietnam war/cold war as thats a common misconseption. Missions will take place in vietnam and cuba but it will not be based around the vietnamese war or cold war.

It's definitely not bad to have many motion-oriented videogames. Less people will be obese if they play active games instead of sitting down with a controller. What if maplestory was a motion game? o.o

Future fads of the gaming industry might be motion control (Already in effect), 3-D, computer-human recognition/drastically improved AI, improved portable consoles, virtual reality paired with mind controlled computers (This might be decades away. You'll probably have grandchildren playing with their new Nintendo ViiMii)

Motion gaming is the next big thing. But until they successfully make a Final Fantasy (or any RPG for that matter) that properly incorporates motion detection, I will not even try these new motion games.

Halo reach needs a few things before I can consider it a great online game. Similar to halo 2 and 3, it needs separate playlists. Grenade spam and the double melee needs to be tweaked. More BTB maps with less tanks and the removal of countdown to the BTB maplist. Oh, Paradiso sucks.

I think game qualtiy is going down like i remember when COD 4 came out that game was amazing after that Wold at war it was same just different guns then MW2 same as MW1 new guns and maps o and starcraft 2 came out 10 years after first one and all it has that's new is the story and a couple of units
