Online dating? Huh?!

So.. Recently I've come across a lot of folks who've been online dating and no I'm not just referring to maplestory kids. Although - I have seen quite a number of people who date online from maplestory... and date in real -__- like wtfaaaaaaaaaaaaak ? Anyways.. So I knew a person who did online dating in real life because they were pretty desperate and if you ask me it seems pretty sad that they can't find anyone in real, but whats more sad is that they call them their " true Love " when clearly they're unhappy with their love life. So my question is - Do you think its possible to find your " true love " from online dating ? On a side note : out of my own opinion - I got to say - No, because after witnessing what this person went through with so many tries.. I feel like it's just a "temporary love feeling" when it comes to online dating.. Lmao ;; EDIT: OHOOHOHH YOOOOOUUUU MODERATORS CHANGE MY TITLES LMAOOO . You can find it online if you really try, but you're probably better off in real life. Personally, I find online dating in general stupid anyway. The only good thing about it is that you get to meet the person's personality before their appearance. Other than that it's meh.

You can, since unlike real life you get to know the personality of the person before you look at their face (if you ever do). Real life, people judge by appearance, then the personality. But I'm going to vote no simply because I despise online dating. Cowards I say, cowards!

I think it's...dumb. I saw this thread where this girl said she "loved" her maple bf, and she felt "safe by his side". Like what the eff. But I don't think it's impossible to find someone you like. You could start talking to someone online, then meet up with them to discover that they're the person you really feel for, but just plain dating on maple is stupid.

Hell to the no. I would personally never do it and I would never recommend someone to do it. I don't care how ugly you are, you never have to lower yourself to online dating. I have no problem with it if you unintentionally meet you "true love" online, and pursue a relationship afterward.

I think your description applies more to infatuation or lust, and I'm still hesitant to say that your description squares well with the former, but many interpret infatuation differently, so I must concede that it could be applicable.
