Hello there, Basil Market. I am a cheap person by nature. So I was contemplating the cheapest Warrior. I do not need a very powerful Warrior. As long as the class is decently fun (as fun as MapleStory can be), then I am a happy child. Please vote and post your reasons. Thanks ahead of time! EDIT: By cheap, I mean that I will not fund the Warrior in any way. They will start with 0 mesos, and the only mesos I will have will be mesos I looted from killing monsters. I use clean equipment that I purchase from an NPC every 20 levels or so. The Warrior will probably have a truck load of DEX. I want to use the weapons that look like common, tiny items in the real world. (Although I do not see many Warriors using such weapons.) Weapons that I feel look cute : One-Handed Sword : 1.) Old Gladius 2.) Sky Blue Umbrella 3.) Pumpkin Basket (2006 SE) 4.) Pico-Pico Hammer 5.) Newspaper Sword 6.) Green Umbrella 7.) Saw 8.) Machete 9.) Lifeguard Saver 10.) Lunch box 11.) Broomstick 12.) Eloon 13.) Light Purple Umbrella 14.) Maplemas Lights 15.) Maple Umbrella 16.) Bamboo Sword 17.) Red Whip 18.) Flaming Katana 19.) Yellow Umbrella 20.) Glowing Whip 21.) Trumpet 22.) Black Umbrella (Actually, now that I think about it, I like almost all of the Swords. As long as they are neatly-designed and not too distracting.) Two-Handed Sword : 1.) Wooden Samurai Sword (Yuck! The weapons are gigantic, distracting, and crowd the character. I like that some of them are real items, but they look ugly, in my opinion.) One-Handed Axe : 1.) Double Axe 2.) Battle Axe 3.) Contra Axe 4.) Misthil Axe 5.) Fireman's Axe 6.) Dankke 7.) Blue Counter 8.) Hula Hoop 9.) Buck 10.) Hawkhead 11.) Mikhail 12.) Gaea 13.) Tomahawk (Very cute weapons! I like almost all of the One-Handed Axes, too. Maybe even more than One-Handed Swords.) Two-Handed Axe : 1.) Sabretooth 2.) The Shining (I only like the appearance of two of the Two-Handed Axes.) One-Handed Blunt Weapon : 1.) Wooden Club 2.) Steel Pipe 3.) Iron Hammer 4.) Hammer 5.) Leather Purse 6.) Red Brick 7.) Mace 8.) Square Shovel 9.) Iron Mace 10.) Hard Briefcase 11.) Pointed Shovel 12.) Plunger 13.) Fusion Mace 14.) Pig Illustrated 15.) Lollipop 16.) War Hammer 17.) Frying Pan 18.) Heavy Hammer 19.) Jacker 20.) Tamus 21.) The Judgement 22.) Bent Judgement 23.) Heaven's Justice (I really like the One-Handed Blunt Weapons. They are all rather tiny and cute.) Two-Handed Blunt Weapons : 1.) Heavy Mace 2.) Sledgehammer (The weapons are way too large.) Spear : 1.) Red Ski 2.) Bamboo Spear 3.) Orange Ski 4.) Fishing Pole 5.) Serpent's Tongue 6.) Green Ski 7.) Holy Spear 8.) Maple Soul Searcher 9.) Redemption 10.) Sky Ski 11.) Fairfrozen (I do not like the Spears too much. I mainly like the Skis and the Fishing Pole, and that's it.) Pole Arm : 1.) Iron Ball 2.) Studded Pole Arm 3.) Janitor's Mop (Ew. Too large and bulky. Absolutely no Pole Arms.) Conclusion: I do not like the appearance of two-handed Warrior weapons. I am more fond of the cute, one-handed

Paladins cause of their cheap BW scrolls? Most warrior classes are cheap.

I would say Page<Spearman<Aran<Fighter from the cheapest to the most expensive.

How would Fighter be anymore expensive than Page, let alone Spearman/Aran? BW/Axe scrolls may be cheap, but you need considerably better scrolling to outdo a Sword. Especially things like Jap Maps/RKs/NRWs/STs.

I started a BW WK 3 years ago, when scrolls were at a different price.

1h sword Paladins obviously. 3rd Job Ice Path saves tons of hp potions. 4th Job skillbooks are beyond cheap (some of them are rare to find in FM but still cheap) and Advance Charged Blow is a spammable 90% stun mob attack which also saves tons of hp potions. Since Warriors in general use minor potions throughout their lifetime like the 300 mp potions until pizzas, potion problems shouldn't bother you as a White Knight/Paladin whatsoever.

Arans are cheap but they can't be cheaper than a Paladin, especially after big bang where we get skills that makes us almost indestructable.

Pally forsure.. i cant believe people voted for Drk's ...HAVE U ALL FORGOT ABOUT ZERK BOOK PRICES? O.O Order of cheapest to most expensive 1. Pally (cheap scrolls, cheap blunt weapons) 2. Hero (Expensive, kinda, but with the rise of 50% scrolls, godly swords are EVERY WHERE.. not so expensive) 3. Drk (Zerk book prices are pretty expensive as i said earlier, not as easy to find a godly spear as it is to find a godly sword, before BB you might want to hp wash a bit so u can zerk easier) 4. Aran (A good arcglaive can reach max mesos, also hp washing is VERY recommended)

Actually, Permabeginners are the cheapest "warrior" class. You get to use a lot of the weapons listed, I'm using plunger atm. Taxis are cheap. No exp loss on dying, making for a free return to the nearest town. No MP pots needed (don't have any skills that use MP). Different damage formula means better defence and reduced HP pot use. Nice and friendly community. Think about it.

Since it looks like you're mainly interested in the look of weapons you might as well go with a 1-H BW page or 1-H axe fighter. Generally the same costs and playing style (until 3rd job atleast). You can basically use those swords you mentioned you like the look of until level 30ish. Most of the ones you mentioned are lower leveled (and not so good damage wise). From there might as well go with BW's or axes.. Scrolls are usually cheap but a pain to find.

Generally warrior classes aren't cheap. You won't need to add DEX for a while if you hold off making your character until the revamp patch comes around. You can survive more or less without any accuracy equipment until level 90 with the new accuracy formula. From what I've seen in the post revamp videos, White Knights/Paladins take very little damage from enemies, making them 'cheap' in that regard.
