| So I'm pumped for Big Bang! Are you? Anyway for the past month I've been scratching my head and wondering is there someone I could depend on for some warrior class-Post BB support? Well I don't know any Koreans that play KMS and also, I can't find anyone that knows lots about it so... here it is. 1st Job-Swordman -I think I know this one. Max everything then put extras into Iron Body . -Other ideas? EDIT* =I think I will max everything except Iron Body then max it after 2nd job. 2nd Job-Fighter -Should I max everything and leave out Improved Fundamentals or should I leave out Ground Smash ? -Should I not max booster and leave it at like 15-16 and close-to-max the other two new skills? -Other ideas? EDIT* =I think I will max IF and leave GS not maxed, then put the remaining points into Iron Will in 1st job, leaving GS at 2. 3rd Job-Crusader -Should I max everything except Shout ? -Should I max Shout and leave out something else like Improving MP Recovery ? -Other ideas? EDIT* =I think I will max Shout and leave out Improving MP Recovery, although this skill sounds like it could save me lots of mesos. 4th Job-Hero -Is there even enough Skill Points to max out everything? (Yes, I'm so noob I don't even know that. xD) -If there isn't enough SP to max everything, which should I leave out? -Any ideas? EDIT* =I don't know what I will do yet. Thanks to whoever takes the time to fill in my empty brain. :D NOTE: Please leave explanation of why you recommend a certain skill over the other, thanks. EDIT* I think I know what I'm doing now thanks to a few threads that have helped me decide as well as get a few opinions. As I always say: I love your precious precious opinions. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-KMS-Big-Bang-Revamp-333.html http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1717971/0/Guide_Post_Big_Bang_Skill_Builds_for_Warriors.html# http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1719024/0/The_new_and_improved_Hero_guide.html# |

| Improved Fundamentals increases your damage a lot in second and I believe third job while you're leveling up Brandish, but it's useless later on. So if you only care about like fourth job, then screw Improved Fundamentals, but its great in second job. In second job you can actually max out everything except for booster (11/20), which doesn't make a big difference. But if you want to save 9 SP from Ground Smash or Improved Fundamentals to max out booster, that works too. No matter what, the result will pretty much be the same once you're in fourth job since by then Ground Smash and Improved Fundamentals don't matter, and Booster's skill level doesn't make too much of a difference. I believe that in every job, you get 3 skill points for each level, and 1 skill point for the job advancement, correct? Level 121 - Level 200 is 80 levels of skill points, +1 skill point for the job advancement at level 120. 80 x 3 = 240 So you will get 241 skill points throughout fourth job, if you're going to go the whole way. You can probably find out what to max out and what not to on your own or using a guide. Hope I helped : ) |

| Of course you did :D Filled up my head with info. Thanks for the help. But wouldn't leaving booster at 11 be a hassle later on? |

|
andrewwoojin : Of course you did :D Filled up my head with info. Thanks for the help. But wouldn't leaving booster at 11 be a hassle later on?
Well it could be, if you're lazy or always forget to use it. Level 11: MP -19, 110 seconds. Level 20: MP -10, 200 seconds. So if you have it maxed and train for an hour, Booster will use 180 MP. If you have it at level 11 and train for an hour, Booster will use 627 MP. I guess the MP usage builds up over time, but i you want to be very successful in second job, then Booster shouldn't be maxed. But Ground Smash can go up to 11 to max Booster if you want, as Slash Blast will go up to 250% with Improved Fundamentals against 6 enemies, while Ground Smash's max is 300% on 3 enemies. Slash Blast replaces this easily. Here's a build I made. I suggest a build similar to this. (Optional, start with +1 ground smash) 1. Max Mastery 2. Max Improved Fundamentals and get Booster up to about 6 to last a good amount of time. I recommend maxing Improved Fundamentals before adding Booster. 3. Max Rage. 4. Max both Final Attack and Ground Smash (you can say that ground smash at level 11 is maxed if you want to max booster) Doesn't matter which order, because since you're probably not going to max Ground Smash, it won't be as useful. 5. Next go for either Power Guard or finish Booster. Results; Mastery; 20 max Improved Fundamentals; 10 max Rage; 20 max Power Guard; 20 max Final Attack; 20 max Ground Smash; 11 or 20 max Booster; 11 or 20 max I'm not sure if Final Attack affects things like Brandish etc., but if it doesn't then it can go at 11. If it does, then max it. |

| hmmm. Is Power Guard really really useful? Like 90% of the people would recommend I max it? Cause if so, Power Guard is only 100 seconds and so I could have a SkillMacro for the short-lasting skills and another one for long-lasting skills. Then I would have no problem with maxing Ground Smash instead of Booster. Here's what I would do if I don't max booster, check if I should do anything different: Short-lasting Macro : Rage=155sec / Booster=110sec / Power Guard=100sec Long-lasting Macro : Maple Warrior=900sec / Combo Attack=200sec / whatever else Also, can anybody answer the question: "Do I get enough SP by lv 200 that I can max out every 4th job skills?" |

| power guard is one of those skills you will use your entire maple career, skimp on one of the skills that is replaced later if, not something you will always use. |

| so you think it would be best to leave booster at 11 and max GS since Power Guard is also only 100sec? Also should I max Shout and leave something else out since Shout is actually useful after BB since the dmg is better? for example: Improving MP Recovery? can I leave that out or is it a really good money saver? Also I've seen some people leave out GS totally and max out Iron Body from 1st job. Is this recommended? |
