Hey guys, i'm gonna try and learn how to play acoustic guitar. Thing is, I'm like.. a real beginner at it, and know NOTHING about it. If you guys have any suggestions, possibly any websites to learn it [ Please, don't try to be smart and say " google it " or " look it up on youtube ], it'll be great. Thanks! And oh, i'll take any tips too (:

Learn all the basic chords G-C9-E-Em-A-Am-C-D Then bar chords Then once you're really good at these, that's when you learn tabs :] Good luck!

Nuuuu forget Youtubeee. Go to ultimate-guitar. com Try the lessons their and eventually move on to learning songs. The songs may look intimidating (some of em) But try dude! Thats how it was for me, just that i play electric.

do your research when buying an acoustic guitar. a bad guitar can really hinder your progression.

The way most people learn solo has already been stated. The Ultimate-Guitar link that they post already. I started with some Blink 182 but it's up to you what you want to play. Also learning and memorizing chords is crucial to becoming better Start off with easy songs and work your way up but patience is key. And practice makes skill. Your Imagination is your limit. Ohh, I'm a beginner learning in school. Our teacher teaches us some basic chords first and then just keep adding more chords. After getting them memorized and stuff, find a song with these chords and learn that.
