In the general bandit forum, there's a green heading that says Guides and FAQs. Right underneath is a little book. Just click on it and the guides should appear

The Guides you are referring to are NOT up to date. The Bandit FAQ was last updated September 1 of 2009 Chief Bandit Guide February Shadower FAQ September 2009 Should I keep going?

As a matter of fact there is none thats ACTUALLY up to date. Post- Balance and Pre-BigBang Noone made a shad guide yet. But you can just ask any questions in the forum about what you need to know now.

Here's an up-to-date guide: Training: CPQ -> WR -> Elderwraiths -> Typhons -> Himes/Gallos -> Skeles -> ToT AP Build: Only enough dex (and str if you're a str bandit) to wear what you want to wear. All other AP goes to luk. Keep in mind many items have inherent dex/str bonuses (zhelm/scar/targa, MoN/HTP), and other equips can only be scrolled for dex (helmet, bottom, shoes). Definitely max these skills: Dark Sight, Savage Blow, Mastery, Booster, Band of Thieves, Meso Guard, Boomerang Step STR or LUK?: Thanks to potential and Dragon Khanjars, str bandits are both stronger and more expensive (in similar situations). However, your range depends much more on how much meso you can spend on your equips.

Optional:1 assaulter, 1 Meso Explosion, 1 Meso Guard (after getting 3 Chakra). Then max BoT and then do whatever you want, it doesn't really matter. @ j0s3a4d: Can you possibly give a few reasons they are out of date other than no Galloperas, Potential and Prices of D Khanjar right now. Other than those, it is fine as it is.

With this combo, you can bomb Elderwraiths (or Himes if you've got a Priest and decent timing) until about 80~85. As you're bombing your way to 80~85, you should raise BoT to at least to level 18 (higher level if you can), and Assaulter to at least level 1 for Typhons. They should be good exp for a long time. Once you're about 100, you should have max MG and max BoT. With these, you can go to Himes or Galloperas. Though they burn through a lot of potions, they're great exp. A lot of the build is up to you though. Other than max BoT and max MG, I would say max Assaulter. Sadly, Shield Mastery, Pickpocket, ME, and Chakra are all not very useful. I almost never use any of them. That will probably change after BB, but that's another discussion entirely.

Myea. Maybe I've not taken the time to edit in some newer training grounds, but I'm fairly sure that the builds I suggest in chief bandit guide and thief faq are still applicable today.
