Skip to the header if you don't want to read the wall of test. So me and my friends (about 6 of us) are going home, and we get off one train, and we're going to go transfer to a different train. For those of you in New York who take the subway, we were at Atlantic-Pacific Street Station. All of a sudden, some kid who looks around our age (14ish 15ish) taps my friend on the shoulder and tells him to give the kid my friend's PSP. Obviously my friend isn't going to give it to him. But the kid keeps asking. We decide to just keep walking. As expected, he followed us. He tapped my friend on the shoulder again and asked for the PSP again. We decided to ask some adults for help, but we were ignored. Usually, there are police officers at the station, but for some reason, there were none today. Fortunately, an MTA worker passed by and he helped us out. The worker talked to the kid and he left. But he only went forward a few feet, leaned against a wall and watched us. The worker decided to come with us, ride the train with us 9since he was going that way anyway) and make sure we're alright. The kid apparently wasn't too bright, because he was right behind us... Literally a few feet behind us, following us again. We got down to the platform, and the kid is still following us. A train arrives, and we want to let him get on the train, and we would take the next one. But he doesn't get on. Then we decide to go on anyway. And he goes on the train, in the next car -.- For a long time, he would just stare at us through the window, watching to see if and when we get off. But we stayed on for a while. After about half the train ride, we see him get off the train... and into our car. He's now sitting down near us, watching us again. We really didn't know what to do. We knew that he'd follow us off the train and try to get the PSP again after the MTA worker leaves. It's been about half an hour already, so we know he's determined. But fortunately, he actually gave up and left. End of the story Long story short, some kid followed us, threatened us, and wanted to steal from us. An MTA worker helped, but he was determined. He gave up after half an hour. We were scared. We got lucky that he left. We all wanted to just beat him up, since it was 6 vs 1. But we didn't know if he had a weapon or anything, and that would've been bad. It kinda upsets me that the adults didn't want to help. I can understand another kid not wanting to help, but an adult? Aren't adults supposed to be mature? I guess not. Also, it makes me wonder why he was so determined. It's only a PSP. you can buy one for about $50 at Game Stop. Was it really worth all of the effort? Of course, he might've wanted to sell it or something, but he looked too young to be involved in that type of business. We now need to take a different route to get home from school, because the kid is probably going to be looking for us again, hoping to get lucky. If this happens again, what should we do? Just for a PSP? =/ He needs to rob someone's place instead. Anyways, this is indeed creepy/scary though. I'd be freaked out. I wouldn't go on a subway though, once you're in you can't come back out til the next stop D:

[/quote] if he had a gun, one of them could've died. if he had a knife, one of them would be injured. if they assaulted him and he had no weapon, the six would be charged with violent behavior/attacking another person. If they're under 18, they'd get in major trouble; if they're over 18, they'll get thrown into jail. if they assaulted him out in public, people would go see them and the metro station might ban them from entry. Life sucks when all you cna think about is whether or not you can 'take him on.'

Some kids like that in New York think they can get stuff by intimidation. Also, it wouldn't be wise to beat that kid up in the subway station because Atlantic Ave. has a lot of people watching. I've seen people like that before in my Jr. high school in the not so bright classes.
