I hate it when people say that freshmen are annoying and dbags. Just because 3 or 4 of them were mean to you doesn't mean the whole grade sucks. Every grade has a few annoying people, just like you mr. complainer. I was talking to my friend today on the bus home and she says "oh my gosh i hate freshmen they are so annoying and think they are so cool, they cut me in the sandwich line today at school" Ok first of all, when you were a freshman you cut people in lines ALL THE TIME, and 2nd of all why does it matter that they are freshman, why not just say I hate people who cut in lines? Thats just like saying I hate all Islamic people because they are all terrorists. That is stereotyping and gives a bad name to all freshmen just because some of them were bad. and just because you are in a grade above them dont think you're better than them, while you may be smarter or taking more advanced classes that does by no means mean you are a better person. First of all Islamic people are called Muslims....moving on.... There are several valid reasons to hate freshmen: 1) Most of them recently or still haven't hit pueberty. They have no idea how to manage their hygiene and don't realize that they have B.O 2) They have no idea what they're doing, and they're ignorance starts to become an annoyance rather than funny. 3) They think that Highschool is like the movies. They walk in and try to assert themselves, trying to become the alpha male or something along those lines. That type of attitude gets annoying to upperclassmen who've been through highschool and know what its about. These are just a few reasons, just from a senior's perspective. I can go all day...just too lazy P.S Comparing what 19 people in an airplane did that cause people to stereotype 1.5 billion people worldwide is not really a good comparison to hating on freshmen. Also....What Green said. Edit #2: Actually, hate is a strong word...they're more like an annoyance. Like that scratch on your back that you can't seem to reach.

I'm a freshman, but when i'm a Jr/Senior, I won't hate the Freshman, just the annoying douchy ones. People act like 1-3 years in age is a huge diffrence.

To be honest, all the year 7's. (Lowest Grade here in Aussie High-Schools) are little obnoxious runts. Also they're rather foul-mouthed, nearly every second word that would come out of their mouth was the c-word. (Which, quite frankly, I find disgusting.) I'm out of school now, but back when I was in year 7, we wouldn't dare act like they do today. I blame society for the most part, parents and teachers are less strict. This is my my personal experience by the way, everyone is different.

I find freshmen annoying since so many of them have that attitude where they think they own the school. Also too many of them are these small kids that rush around and cut people off in the hallways when they're going to their next class because they're too afraid they'll be late.
