Stonetooth Sword Help

I am wanting to buy this 140 attack 18 str hammered Stonetooth sword. How much should i offer? Its up for 1.4b in a shop. It has 2 line potential that i plan to cube. And also, i have heard that stonetooth swords are obsolete after BB. Is this true?

They're not obsolete after BB. It's true that 1H swords do gain somewhat of an even greater advantage after BB, but it will still be a beastly sword, able to dish out some crazy damage.

Also. Will it take ALOT of cubes to give it 30% boss damage? Like 100+?

I think an ST will be kinda useless after BB. You'll have to buy 116 dex in equips, and dex isn't even needed for ACC anymore.

[/quote] 4 base dex 40 dex from cHTP 20 dex pants 7dex top 30 from helm and lets say 9dex from rings + mw20: you get enough dex. Most people would also have atleast 10dex from earrings.

I sold my 132atk u/h ST for 200k nx 2 days after 50%s were released if that helps.

1b sounds like a good deal but i'd still save for a ST with a 3 line potential Dex wont really make ST obsolete, percent equips will make the 20 or so dex you might not get from equips almost nothing

Get a 3 line if you want 30% boss. Saves you a whole lot of cubes. Granted there aren't many floating around any more....if any.
