Is it advisable for a dual blade to wield a STR dagger instead of a LUK dagger?

nope unless your willing to use a pescas... and it see it as pointless because we dont have the dkhanjar to equip so...

You'd be putting points/getting equips into Str for the dagger alone. You should be maxamising the amount of points you put in Luk and the amount of Dex your equips give.

Not really.. we're not like dits, we don't have STR kataras. There are some who use STR daggers just for looks and without adding any STR. Its just a personal preference I guess..

It is if you're lv 127 and have the option between a LUK VIP Dagger or a STR VIP Dagger. The STR VIP Dagger is the ultimate dagger for any Shad / Dual Blade. It has higher atk, and the only difference between it and the LUK dagger is the STR one has 4 str while the LUK one has 4 dex. But unless you have 2 bil mesos to buy a VIP STR Dagger... it's advised to just stick with dex required daggers.

There are pros for Dual Blades to wield Str Daggers in that they are cheaper and have more base attack than Luk Daggers b/c generally on Shadowers use them. But if I were you and somehow have enough Str stats from your equips and/or potential than I would try to get a Str Dagger. If you think about it, it isn't impossible to get at least 75str (for an end game weapon).. but you have to be somewhat funded. You get 21 from CZhelm, 22 from HTN, at least 3 from your DB mask, 2 from your medal, 1-5 from your alien rings, 4 base str and the rest will have to be str/str% or all stat/all stat %. So if I had 75str lying around I would get a Str dagger b/c it would be cheaper and slightly stronger.

If you get a CHTP, you really won't have to worry. I just got a +40 CHTP and I already have 75 STR. Just have a Lilin Lv 3 Ring, a 2nd Unwelcome Guest Ring, yellow belt, 15 STR Zhelm, 3 STR Mask, 2 STR medal, and that's basically it I believe. 4 base.
