What about bad experiences? Or experiences that teach a lesson that is just objectively wrong? Or an outdated experience? A man who grew up in the 1940's could not say that experience prepared him for any of today's technology. Every elderly person who casually slings around racial slurs is a testament to this. They have experience, to be sure, but it was nothing in the face of an ever changing world.

I shot myself in the head to experience death, aimed the gun wrong, causing the bullet to injure me but not kill me. Now I'm disabled forever. Experience is not the best teacher.

Once you've typed some of your paper out, I can try to help with some of the grammar and sentence structure. That's generally the only thing I'm good at. The brainstorming is up to you; I'm ridiculously uncreative, when things are not music-related.
