Rant on my asian parents

this is a story about a long, intricate situation i am currently in. So, i am a freshmen in high school taking zero period, club soccer, Model united Nations, cross country, boy scouts and violin. ( im quitting piano... i am also doing high school soccer in winter) as of right now, my parents are overwhelmed by my schedule let alone able to deal with it. I am perfectly fine with my activites and think i manage my time pretty well. Well tonight, my dad, mom, and I were doing are daily "debriefing" as my dad calls it, and we were going over my mistakes during the day like how i asked him to sign something in the morning rather than at night and how MUN meetings end at 6:30 rather than 6:00. ( my parents got pissed cuz my soccer (club) practice is at 6 pm so there was a conflict.) Everything was going as usual, tedious and extremely repititive. Then, my mom asks me if there's anything i need to tell her for tomorrow. I say no. My dad then asks what my schedule is on saturday. I respond i know my schedule in those exact words. His response is a rash hurling of 4 piilows on my couch( only 1 hit me) for reasons i dont know. Then, he goes on a tangent and lectures me furiously i might add about how i need to tell him my schedule on saturday and how he cannot handle my activites. Its funny because, right before they asks me to talk to them tonight, i asked them first to sign a permission slip for MUN detailing my saturday schedule for a conference i have. What do u think basil? crazy azn parents or own personal fault? ty for your time in reading this makeshift draft.

Uhh, why are you trying to fill up your day with so much activities? you should just choose the things you will continue with throughout your high school life, because as you get to your senior year, it will get harder. I don't even have any clubs, and i stay up all night doing homework.

Yea asian parents get mad at almost eveything. I wanted to wear a t-shirt to school and my dad made me wear a sweatshirt and then during the way to school he started saying why people were wearing long sleeve shirts and he sees this indian kid and calls him ret@rded. :P idrc tho

i plan to quit club soccer after the season, but my dad said i already made a commitment to the team and my coach....he wants me to quit cross country, but i already made a commitment to cross country as well....my dad just likes soccer more i guess

Ap world and ap stats alone isn't that bad. (Well I take ap world next quarter) But once you get a full schedule of ap you should be complaining. I'd suggest dropping the sports for sophomore year, and join more academic competitions over sports.

Yeah, dude my parents expect 4.0's every quarter. The lowest grade i've ever gotten is a B and they still aren't satisfied -.- Sometimes i wish i could do drugs and drop out of school just to show them how bad i could be.
