Take lessons. The way you breathe actually impacts your singing a LOT more then you think it does

I actually was a good singer, (I'm not good at all now though) but I hated how my voice sounded. No one like how they sound when it's recorded&played back to them. Sing to someone, and have them tell you if you're good or not. Unless you just know you're horrible and are wondering why. But if there's a glimmer of hope...
