What is the point of good grades?

Okay I am tired of being called an idiot since i didn't make it clear here are my intentions. Remember what you want can change. Here it is in a nutshell. Pass high school with at least a 3.0 gpa I don't know why you all think i am going to get D's and F's. I am just saying I am not gonna struggle for that "A" I am fine with B's and a C and hopefully an A if its an easy class. Then After that go to a Community College save my self some money with FASFA. NOT make up the classes I failed cause I am not planning to. Then Try to transfer to a college in which I want to major in. My major will most likely be in something I enjoy doing. My mom makes 19k a year after taxes works 40 hours a week all year. Me graduating high school and making at least 30k a year would be good for myself. Obviously my intentions will change if i plan on marriage and what not but I am still a junior give me a break.

most college admission looks for two parts: your gpa and sat score i dont know your situation, but good grades are always benefitial

Edit: Also, neurosurgeons are in high demands, while cashiers to work at Mickey D's are not.
