Welcome to Basilmarket's Multi-World Omok Tournament! Welcome all Omok players! Here, you'll be competing against Maplers in all worlds in the classic game of Omok. That's right, you will be playing people outside of your world. From now until midnight on September 17th, we'll be accepting competitors. Do not sign up if you are inactive. Last time, there were too many players that signed up and never played their games, screwing up the whole tournament. We ask that you subscribe to this thread if you sign up. You will be quoted in every post that involves you, so subscribe to the thread AND check your "Quoted" tab often. Divisions Division 1 - run by maybeupthere Division 2 - run by HyeBandit Division 3 - run by SposeImAwesome Division 4 - run by CeruleanMuse/xWasbewwii Staff Members After reading everything on this thread, if you have any questions, here is our current staff: DrHye Maybeupthere SposeImAwesome CeruleanMuse xWasbewwii Rules and Information 1. Have an Omok set ready in your main character's world. That way, in any world where two competitors meet, one of you will have a game ready. (The easiest set to make I believe is the Pig and Octopus set. You just need 1 Pig, 1 Octopus, and 1 table.) 2. Subscribe to the thread, check your "Quoted" tab often. In other words, stay active and don't sign up if you're not going to keep alert on the matches. 3. Matches will be played best two out of three. Take a screenshot of each match to verify the results. 4. All tournament ladders will be organized on Challonge, an online tournament ladder generator. The links to the ladders will be posted after registration closes. 5. There will be a currently undetermined number of divisions, depending on how many people compete. Final rounds of each division will play a best three out of five. Winners of each division will meet in a Finalists Division. 6. Rounds will last 3 days each - you have 3 days to complete the match. 1 of 4 scenarios will occur: • If both are not active, then both will be booted (i. e. inactive in the thread, no PMs with results). • If the matches are not completed because one player is inactive, the active player will advance. • If you and/or your opponent have issues meeting up during the time constraint, alert the staff BEFORE the 3 day deadline and you�ll be given an extension. If you do not alert the staff before the deadline, you will both be out. • Both players are compliant and the matches go off without a hitch (hopefully this one). 7. Any questions, ask a staff member via PM. By all means, if you can play ahead of schedule, do it. I'll be honest, I can't promise anything at the moment though. It was mostly GonnaMakeHell's idea to offer a prize, even though he didn't consult any of us on that, and giving away prizes is against the rules on a thread (I was warned by a mod), so I'm hesitant at doing that... GonnaMakeHell You changed like part of one rule, and helped MaybeUpThere in updating the list. You don't own the list, and if it bothers you that much, we'll edit any part of the rules that you changed yourself. But I can check which parts you edited, as I still have the old thread. The vast majority of the rules were written by me, you just spaced them out and added like 3 bullets.

This tournament is more for fun and to have an event-like thing going on basil... If you want to play omok with basilers, join, but just because there's no money reward doesn't mean you should quit. :P Plus, we can't really guarantee a meso reward because we don't have mesos in every world, and I'm not gonna ask any of the other tournament staff to buy nx for this. It doesn't matter though because I was told by a mod that we can't offer prizes. GonnaMakeHell was breaking the rules by offering such.
