lol i though it was a video game commercial during the car crash and i was just waiting "pre-order the game now at game stop and recieve a crappy gift". but overall the video is kinda telling me that when you find the "one", nothing will stop you from getting the "one"
Omegathorion : I probably am, what makes it so special then?
I was thinking that they were just trying to go for the beauty of things with the high-speed camera and whatever. The story between the dude and the girl is just filler. That's what I think at least. Or perhaps they're not really even strangers? Maybe past lovers? Another basiler came up with a good theory about it meaning never stopping for who you love, or something like that.
Omegathorion : I probably am, what makes it so special then?
First off - regarding Gender roles. It's not reinforcing them. It's set in the 1940's / 1950's. It's historically accurate. It's showing the effects of love - Nothing else, no one else, and nothing will ever matter so much. Nothing can stop it, nothing can break it. And it re-illustrates the image and position that love has in people's minds - To give them the thought of all time stopping, all things unable to stop it. Also shows the guy's a bit of a wimp. Lmao! GO GET HER BOY

I dont mean to burst your happy bubble, but not all black and white + slow motion = beautiful masterpieces. Just my thought, it wasnt very epic at all. If you want to see a beautiful movie, watch "Life Is Beautiful" its an Italian movie, about the holocaust

I thought it was beautiful, and I don't think all black and white slow-mo films are beautiful, but that one was.

I love everything about that period, the recovery of major wars, the discovery of new technologies, and especially... that style. The clothes the guy was wearing was just splendid. OT: Great video (for me because of ^) alright song, thanks for sharing

I actually see something like this reinforcing the male/female cliche, adding to anti-homosexuality. Effects of love... such as smashing a car, wrecking a shop's glass window, and epicly stepping into a puddle. Do the effects of love include rampant disregard for other people? Or is it saying we don't need cars and glass windows as long as we have love? There are plenty of sappy love songs and poems about how they wish they could stop time and be with him/her forever. This is an impressive rendition but I don't see much unique about it.
