1. Hey I was wondering which is better for me, as a str cb (not too funded). So yea I know MoN is alot cheaper and also addes 10atk which I think is better than a 22 stats necklace (plz confirm this, not sure how much dex,str,luk = atk?). 2. Also what are the clean stats of a CHTP? it doesnt show right in basil... 3. And how do I get the CHTP/HTP? I know Horntail and Chaos Horntail drop it, but how can I get into a party who hunts them? Do I need to pay like for a Zrun? How can I find ppl who are recruiting for the hunts? Thanks EDIT- Whats the luk/atk ratio? Dex/Luk ratio? Str/Luk ratio? Just trying to calculate if the 22luk+22dex+22str will add more than 10w.atk.

MoN im pretty sure the formula for 400 luk is +1wep att=5 luck...500+1 wep=6luk etc..?10 attack =around 100 but the formula would then change and make it around 60 points on an chtp....but a 22 htp vs a 10 att MoN Take MoN

I think a 6% luk htp would be much better than a reg chaos one imo. Not sure how much that'd be though And since you said you aren't funded (very),then I'm guessing you can probably get more out of upgrading your other stuff than the tons you'll spend on a chtp EDIT: Realized I only answered part of your Q's 1. Since you're a str dit, you'll get 66 stats from a reg htp, and 75 stats + 2 att from a chaos htp (str, dex, and luk) vs. 10-12 attack and 15 stats from a MoN 2. Also what are the clean stats of a CHTP? it doesnt show right in basil... The clean stats are 10/10/10/10 2 att, but no one sells them clean and they sell them egged which is a 100% scroll for them which adds 15 to all stats (not counting attack), so 25/25/25/25 and 2 att is how you'll buy it. 3. And how do I get the CHTP/HTP? I know Horntail and Chaos Horntail drop it, but how can I get into a party who hunts them? Do I need to pay like for a Zrun? How can I find ppl who are recruiting for the hunts? You'll need to buy it from the FM and if you wanted to join, you'd have to be 16x for HT and probably 170+ unless you have connections for cht. The prices vary greatly in each server for untradable items like this and regular htps, so I'm not sure how much it'll be, since they've been dropping rapidly due to hacks. Good luck. Do to you being a str dit, I'd recommend a htp over a MoN, and if you can afford it, try getting 6% luk, or get a chtp with 6% luk

can I scroll or upgrade MoN? Can it be potentialed? And well yes I guess I'll go for the MoN once I get to 110, maybe I could get it from the CWPQ (u dont need to buy a run for that right?)

A couple alliance guilds and buddies of mine run for fun and occasionally sell, so if they have open spots I'll join them on each of my characters

In both basil and hidden-street it says that the HTP stats (clean) are +7stats. Can anyone confirm this? and if so, how do u get it to 22 stats?

ugh... cHTP is better than a MoN in everyway... 10%hp/mp > 300 I've seen +71att... that > +4-6 It can be scrolled and potentialed I guess the only thing about MoN is it's easy to get and a hella lot cheaper, and it's 110 instead of 120... if that means anything Edit: +71all.. not att my bad, (str, dex, luk, int)

There's an Unscheduled SC to fix the glitch that allows CHTP to be hammered. I guess they weren't supposed to be that powerful.
