Equipment Enhance Scroll Use

Could anyone tell me where I could find a list or a general guideline as to what Equipment Enhance scrolls will and won't work on. I have 5 saved now cause the last three times I tried to use them on a piece of gear I wasn't able. I successfully enhanced a previously conventionally scrolled Dragonfire Revolver, a scrolled Canopus Suit of my own design, and my scrolled Titanium Receiver. However, I was not able to enhance my potential'd Peacemaker, the unscrolled Canopus Gloves I'd just makered, or the PAC I just got for dirt cheap. So far, I'm under the impression that items with potential can't be enhanced. Other than that it's been rather hit or miss.

They are not working because the item you want to Enhance, still have slots left to be used.

You have to have fully scrolled (make it 0 slots) an equipment before you can enhance it.

just out of curiosity, if you enhance a wg ; lets say 12attack. Does it have a chance to increase attack? or just add random stats?

A chaos scroll with only positive effects if you want to see it that way. To the other person. people claim that wgs can get watt boosted as well, but I tried a few wgs and only got random stats. Never watt and so far no proof has been given yet.
