Anyone have any ideas of what the success rate of each upgrade is? also is it really hard to get a lvl 20 one to the 70 one without it blowing?

Took me 4 upgrades. Went from level 20-40-30-70. The upgrades don't always "upgrade" they also have a chance of downgrading.

I'm not sure, but I think...there was a 10% chance of blowing them up, and after that, 50/50 chance of upgrading/downgrading?

Can someone explain to me how to/what's needed to make/what's needed to upgrade strigeman pants?

Not that easy. You need 8 wads of gum, 8 stretchy fabrics, 15 loaded springs, and 20 screws per upgrade, and you can only upgrade once per day on each character. The loaded springs are easy to get, screws you can probably...buy or forge, but the wads of gum and stretchy fabrics only drop from those stupid glutton gouls. Unless you're a ranged char, that sucks nuts. Stats? No clue. I want em for hb :D

Out of 5 pants I have tried upgrading, 3 blew on the first time, and the other 2 went up to MKIII and then blew.

I bought my pants for 400m....O.o seemed cheap but they were unpotentialed. I used an advanced potential scroll and cubed about 20 times to get HB........how much are the pants worth anyway? I saw them for 1.5b in windia. Have yet to see HB pants in Bellocan.
