Maturity and literacy in Maple

EDIT: Before you note that maturity and literacy isn't relative, please note that I didn't mean for the title to sound like that. My bad. After reading a lot of rants/complaints/scammers, etc, I've felt the need to vent. Before you start bashing on me, this is the same as any of the other hundreds of "I got scammed, falsely banned, etc". 1) Sick of the people who can't type out a simple "please". All I ever see if "plz", "pliz", "50k". As if that wasn't displeasing to the eyes already, they beg or demand for more, or even, just leave without a simple thanks or sign of gratitude. As if that wasn't downright annoying already, a lot of people just rush into your mobs and slash away. Worst case scenario; They kill-steal your mob, you kill-steal it back, they defame you and run away. Someone has a vendetta against me. 'Nuff said. Worst case scenario; Getting into a little grudge match with a D/C hack leecher. 4) Scroll buyers/sellers and merchants. The ones that immediately cancel trade as soon as you do what they tell you to (usually, "offer"). Merchants are usually the one with this problem. Though there's no real "default" or "average" price" of each item in each world, people can be at least a little reasonable with the prices. Moral; If you're not going to offer and reason, don't tell them to offer. You're wasting your own time. This also applies to the person confronting the buyer/seller. Okay before i say anything im not racist my close friend is asian, i mean i would like fight for this guy (the most unlikely thing i would ever do) anyway some db traded me so i was like hello then he just slaps this into the message box YOU SELL BLU HABD? and at this point my head is hurting trying to understand, then i realize hes meaning my glove so i was like no sorry man This is what got me though, everythin was typed in capitols and spelled incorrectly. OT. i support this thread also add that capitols are not necessary.

It's just irritating. Maybe not for you, but I'm sure for many others as well. Fame isn't a big deal, but a defame is like a slap in the face. It's quite obvious they're trying to provoke you, and if they think you care about a defame, then they obviously do, too. And I'm not talking about maturity and literacy being relative, but when a person comes up to you and defames you after you tell them "Please speak in proper sentences.", then there's a problem.

It's rare to find someone mature who types correctly, Haha~. But yes, I completely agree with you. ;A;. And I always wanna get back at them, but they're only liek, what, Lvl 8~49? What am I gonna do? [: OT: Whenever a newb/noob asks for money, if they ask politely such as: "May I have some mesos please?" then I put in like 1 mil. o-o Otherwise I just give 'em like 20k, and they accept and f2 at me.

I don't see how maturity plays into typing "plz", "pliz", or "please". "cc pls?" Whatever. Obviously some people are more paranoid than you and me; leave them be. It doesn't hurt you at all, does it? V Agreed, except for the "cc please" part. People actually say that, almost as often as its bastardized variation.

When someone says "plz" its coz they are trying to say it fast. No one say cc please. Also if "plz" annoys you then so should "cc" they are both abbreviations no one online should need to speak like this "Change channel please, and thank you I would like it if you did not kill steal me" also people follow other people to make sure they arent ksing the other half of the map. No one says you HAVE to give those newbs messos and for number 3 thats just bad luck.

Nobody needs to type like that, yes you are correct, and most(?) of maple comprise of younger people, but really? Is it that hard to type in "Please change channels"? If the kill-stealer can repeatedly type "cc plz" over and over, why can't they type "please"? For your "to make sure nobody kills the other half of the map", if you walked into a map though a mob without attacking, it wouldn't bother you at all if the person CC PLZ'D and ksed around you? Well, that's your opinion and I'm nobody to change it or convince you otherwise.

I agree with bowmannoob. Not negotiating people are annoying. Especially if they're those scroll buyers and you're allready selling for half price. And they still want to go under it. I mean, it's still a good profit man!

[/quote] dude you dont understand EVERYONE abbreviates ON MSN ON FACE BOOK IN VIDEO GAMES YOUR ALONE ON THIS NO IT ISNT HARD TO TYPE "CC PLEASE" BUT EVERYONE DOES IT ITS SIMPLY DONE ON THE INTERNET ACCEPT IT. So your not annoyed by the fact that people tell you to " cc plz " your annoyed by the fact that they say it like that?....
