Yeah, but complaining or even stopping yourself from eating/purchasing meat products isn't going to change a thing in this world. The animals are going to be beaten whether we buy them or not. I'm not for, and am certainly against beating animals like this, but it won't ever stop me from eating/wearing animals. |

[/quote] short of a major social revolution, it's not going to happen. even then you have to wade through all the preconceived notions of how animal rights people are (thanks for the good press, PETA) as well as the red tape of government. it's not impossible, but factoring in how long it hasn't changed, how the human race generally acts/thinks, and some other crap...and it's very unlikely, especially if you're trying to change it on a worldwide scale. an actual, good activist would totally gain my appreciation/respect though. |
