ACB and the unlucky paladin

hello basil, i have been trying to get acb ever since i made pally. the only problem is i dc whenever i zak, i am currently using vista, i heard if you change your resolution during each of the bodies it will help you to not dc. any helpful tips?

I have this problem too. If your fast, try alttabbing after arms are killed or dropping your resoultion after arms and body.

I tried zakking 5+ times for ACB with mah guild, and dc'ed every time. Even though I tried different settings every time, I would always DC withi. The first 10 seconds of the fight. I got pissed off and smegaed "B>Advanced Charge book, 10 mil. I'll scissor :D" Got like 20 offers within 10 seconds. Since then I've used smegas whenever I can't find something. It's only $1.30, honestly it's worth it.

Too bad you're not in Windia, I collect books from Zak for classes that need them, ACB is free to any new Paladins and I charge other classes for their books. I'm doing this until books are no longer required after BB or until they give better support for 64-bit OS Support so people don't DC every time they go to Zak. So far, most people have been nice enough to provide SoK themselves, which is the biggest reason I don't mind doing this.

[/quote] Woow, that's very nice of you...in deme, its expensive cause of the bad economy...I had to pay 20m and karma for my acb, and now I'm broke...D: markk still having trouble with acb? D; ask PuckQQQ if he has anymore (thats where I got mine) or ilazysair x]

[/quote] If you can manage to do that at least, I lagged like hell trying to get mine. Alternatively since I got screwed so much with Zak a friend just SoK'd one for me. :|

Vivir Hey man, this game is too simple to spend busting your ass over a skill book, it's not like I have dozens of them anyway, and there's no reason not to if they Gift the SoK themselves.

i think the reason you d/c w/in the first 10 seconds is that zak's summon animation is huge. to avoid this problem, wait 10 seconds before attacking. and lower resolutions after each body.
