How hard/boring are Marauders?

I'm going to make a brawler when the big bang patch comes but I wanted to know how hard is 3rd job? I've seen some people here on basil said it was hell to train and that 3rd job skills are kinda boring. I tried a brawler up until level 52 and it was so fun but I thought I would never get past level 120 and I never did so I replaced it with a shiet breaker. Now with the new exp curve I think I can get at least one character past 120. So how hard and boring is it during Marauder-hood?

I was in the exact same situation as you. I hesitated making a Brawler because I thought 3rd job would be hell. I made a TB and got it to level 80 before deciding to make a Brawler. I wasted my time with my TB.. Anyways, I made it to Marauder and found it still to be extremely fun and not hard at all. If you like Brawlers, you will like Marauders.

70-85 will be your hardest levels. Marauder skills don't suck, their skills just need to be near maxed for them to be effective. Energy blast is a great mobbing attack, and also energy drain is a good recovery attack. Marauder is actually quite fun, since you alternate between using two sets of attacks when training. Energyblast is a really strong move, and you will level pretty fast with it. 90% of the time I train I have energy charged, and since it has a power stance effect, we have an advantage over other 3rd job characters.

70-80 was hell for me but once I got energy blast & energy charge at a good level it was fun.

Marauder isn't so much as to being "boring". It's completely perspective anyways and I mean, if you enjoyed being a Brawler, you probably will be enjoying Marauder too. I personally couldn't stand the early Marauder levels (70~>110) and somehow started liking things at 110~>120 (LOL). That probably won't be you by the sound of things...you'll most likely enjoy being a Marauder plenty

3rd job was really boring for me but brawlers are generally an easy class to train.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. One more question. Should I start my brawler now and max Increase Max HP and wait for the skill changes or should I just wait? I heard somewhere that you'll get more hp after the changes for current characters. Is that true?

80-90+ near 100 is BORRRRRRRING Especially vikrolas, boring AND annoying. Good luck, try kents instead, more mobs
