| Running it can have multiple meanings. Some people will assume you want a graphics card that can run everything on lowest settings as long as you can actually play the game, which is a different preference for everybody. Everybody else will assume you want a graphics card that can run everything, but all you will see is a slide-show of pictures followed by a fried graphics card after. |

| Responding to your other thread which you closed, the 5770 is a much better buy. |

| An integrated graphics chipset can play any game at lowest settings. For example, This can play everything on the market. It can run MW2 at med-high settings. But i'd recommending getting this instead of a 5770. Better value. Link But this will run everything on med-high settings, and DEFINITELY has the best performance to price ratio whatever right now. | I would also like to vouch for the 5770 > 5750. Sure its 25 bucks more but at the same time it offers better performance. The 5770 is one of the best bang for buck cards out there (GTX 460 undoubtedly is the best) and makes the 5750 look like a waste of money. If you are on windows 7, DX 11 might be a good idea but if you aren't, the combo pepsi posted is a nice deal for the price. OCZ and Asus are very good with rebates (gotten 100+ bucks off both of them easily) but they do take some time but even without the rebate, its a nice price. and the 4870>5770 by about 2%. Driver improvements may have changed that but ATI hasn't made a decent driver since catalyst 10.5 |

|
BloodTanker : So this would run all the modern games on med/low/high?
Yes. Feel free to search up videos on youtube. Search : "Nvidia 9600 GSO gameplay" Or if your looking for a specific game, type the name then add "nvidia 9600 GSO." Example : "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Nvidia 9600 GSO" A certain basiler by the name of noobpwnge could confirm this for me, as he had one before. If i recall. |
Yep it should run MOST games on high. the 9600 gso is the equivalent to a 8800 GS/GT but I believe it is the 96sp version the only one I can find is the 48sp. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=5716140&sku=E145-9638&srkey=9600%20GSO now thats a deal. |

|
BloodTanker : So this would run all the modern games on med/low/high?
It would run all games on low/med depending what resolution ur playing at. The 9600GSO is definitely not as "futureproof" as the 5770, and you would definitely have to purchase a new gpu much sooner. Even then, this version of the GSO is DDR2 , so it performs even worse than the original 8800GS DDR3. |
Not only does Newegg have the 1.5GB version of it for sale, it's only $25. Link Chickenz, for $25, there's not really much room for arguement. |

But the ts asked for the cheapest gpu although it is smarter to buy a 5770. |

| Backed up by the reviews on newegg, this gpu is downgraded from the version you would normally see on youtube. With nearly half the shaders and the bottleneck of having DDR2 RAM (yes, even a large part of the geforce 7 series had ddr3), it is simply not a good card for gaming in the future. While the price is good, the performance is comparable to that of an 8600GT, according to one reviewer. Any gpu today that is using DDR2 can't really be justified as "gaming" card. |
