Suggestion for Mods/Mr. Basil

I go around quite a bit on Basil, and notice that when it's late at night, weekdays and weekends, it's usually packed with trolls or other people making rather odd/inappropriate threads. I'm sure the Mods have better things to do than "patrol" the site when they need a night of rest, studying, or whatever they do on their free time. Of course, the threads are dealt with later on, but still it's rather annoying to still have to put up with it for hours at a time until they get restricted/banned. How about this... Why not limit the amount of threads that can be made per day to all people? Also to add to this, why not also post a restriction on posting links until a certain amount of...postive feedback perhaps? Discuss?

There already is a limit on threads-per-day, and the feedback rule was removed because of an extremely high amount of feedback scamming.

There used to be no limit for threads but thanks to DrXBowman.... There's a 5 thread per day limit.

Are you kidding me? You're actually asking for more restrictions? The best solution to anything and everything regarding rulebreakers: more moderators. The team is too small.

Australian Mod sounds nice so far. And why not more restrictions? Less idiots to deal with.

Everyone, the thread restriction is a great idea. First of all, I don't have to make 20+ threads a day anymore, and neither do other people, so less suspensions. And less threads means less complainers that complain about people making threads to mods, and less traffic jams in the Basil system, and more opportunities for a person's thread to stay on the front page longer. . Maybe my 25+ day had a positive motive, maybe not.
