2X Events are always at the WORST TIME

I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED by the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME THERE'S A 2X EVENT they put it at a time that suits only half of the worlds population! I mean, Nexon's gonna have 4 whole weekends of 2X, why they can't AT LEAST vary it up so that some of the weekends would be suitable for North Americans, and for others, it would be suitable for people who live on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD is beyond me! Isn't this "Global" Maple story? Obviously Nexon only cares about those who live in America, as these 2X events are consistently around 5am in the morning! Not to mention the pop tag gachapon event. Only Americans can play Pop Tag. Haha tough luck, no free gacha tickets for you. They should make it "North American and Other random countries we don't care about Maple Story" - NA(orc)MS. PS. These up coming weekends of 2X are all from 5am to 7am in the morning. Yes, 4 weekends of 2x, thats 8 days, or 16 hours of 2x, ALL OF WHICH is between 5am and 7am. *Facepalm

You're probably frustrated because you're high levelled, and from previous experience, high levels value 2x. But its not their fault, Maple was made to cater for mainly NA because that's where their money comes from (usually). If you can wake up at 5am and do the 2x

That's only half the story. Server Checks for Sydney People are on Wednesday nights 4-11 [When most children are awake to play] Then they'll be like WE'RE GONNA EXTEND IT TO 3AM SO THAT YOU GUYS WILL BE ASLEEP AND THEN AMERICANS CAN WAKE UP. Then we whinge. Then they're like OKAY WE'LL GIVE YOU A 2X EVENT WHEN YOU GUYS ARE SLEEPING AND AMERICANS HAVE FINISHED THEIR LUNCH AND CAN PLAY FOR THE AFTERNOON. Vair Vair annoying.

I have in the past, and I do plan to wake up at that ridiculous time; It's just obscenely frustrating that it's Always at the same time; they never vary it up for other people around the world, or for people who have work commitments at that certain time. 2X events are indeed valuable - that's why Nexon uses them as compensation so often - coupled with a coupon and family buff, that's 8 times the usual experience from monsters, which means what you could do in 8 hours of 1x, you could do in 1 hour. Bleh. Same goes for server checks. They're meant to finish at 9pm here, normally about 11pm allowing extensions, which is just when we go to bed! Oh and yes. Just when Americans happily wake up...

Sorry but Global Nexon was made for NA. Only NA. Perhaps MS Europe of SEA would be better.

What I'm upset is when the game crashed in Australian time, they comprehend 2x event in American time! Can't they at least comprehend on the next day, same time, when the game had crashed. Americans enjoy 2x event for no reason while Aussies have lost their effort and time without comprehension.

Most players on GMS are from America and Canada so it's obvious to fit the times for majority of the players. As for not making a 2exp during your times I think the best sollution to this is what everyone has said b4. Give everyone a quest or something that will let them 2EXP/DROP for those 4 to X hours when ever they want WITHIN 24 hours to instead of putting it at a certain time. That would help A LOT.
