Why do so many arans use a Karstan at high levels?

I've seen quite a few Arans who still use Karstans at high levels (120+). Why?

BECAUSE IT'S NORMAL SPEED. (and arcglaive is too hard to get.)

Normal speed is actually quite a big boost in DPM compared to higher attack polearms.

[/quote] Yeah, it does. Combos. Faster combos=easier to recover 70% critical rate when you get stunned. Also, more tempest's. (very high damage, add it onto bosses with multiple parts like zakum...)

I need a normal or faster weapon, because I like to use smart knockback to keeps mobs from using magic while I finish them. Also more combos, which is the almost half the power of an aran's attack.
