1/5/07 - ! was gone for 6 hours to go to work and i get more flames saying i have no life ........-_-...some of you guys are so ignorant -Please if your going to start flaming me on my facts don't come complain to me go complain to any scientist out there which revealed their facts about this situation. The movie, TC, that he is referring to, is A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, starring Haley Joel Osment as the clone that travels to the future. Very sad movie if you ask me. I don't know if this has been addressed, but TC, I would like to change some of your dates. Number one, all of the ice shelves melting in Greenland and in the poles is expected by 2040, along with the rising waters that this would cause (20ft+, as you said), which would flood low-lying countries and Florida, killing about 30million people, and yes, destroying Disney World as well. Also, you didn't mention the fact that 70% of the world's freshwater lies in these ice caps, which obviously means that if we don't start working on this NOW, we will have a drastic drop of freshwater in only 33 years. And for anyone that was flaming "An Inconveniant Truth" (sp, I know; I didn't read the whole thread -.-) let me say this: One, have you seen the movie to begin with? If not, don't flame something you don't know. Two, if you are calling it liberal propoganda since Al Gore is the one who lectures on it, then stop being close-minded, watch the movie again, and review all of the scientific points Gore makes with regards to research provided to him by his friends in the science world that I AM SURE you could find online, published by them and their colleagues, if you still have doubts. Finally, if you just plain hate Al Gore because you think he's a flip-flopper and never picks a side, then let me say this: ALL politicians look like this from time to time because they HAVE to; it's their job. If WWIII broke out next year, Gore would obviously put Global Warming on hold and join up with fellow politicians to help fight the war. In other words, everyone chooses a side for something when the moment presents itself. If this still does not convince you and you stick to your conservative Republican roots, look at George W. Bush, and then tell me who is more of a flip-flopper. Game, set, and match :P.
