| with sac, drk is in top 5 so meh. according to krumeis chart which is not very accurate, sac attacks faster than crusher and does more damage and ignores defence(which wont really add much but meh) . That makes drk like better than hero |

Even with a fast 5 weapon, Sacrifice will do only 99885.714286%/min average whereas a Hero's BS would do 154224%/min average with a fast 5 weapon. That's a raw difference of 54.4%, you would need a PDR of like 35% to just catch up to a Hero. Not to mention, Heroes don't even have that high DPM, they would be something around 7th on the list. |

|
gunblade72 : Heroes look broken. They out damage paladins on 1vs3 neutral (this isn't really wrong but), even if the mob is weak to an element heroes still win 1vs1 because enrage makes brave slash hit 1 enemy and it gives a 60% damage boost. So paladins lose on 1vs1,1vs2 and 1vs3 and heroes have a godly 1vs1 and 3v3 skill. While paladins just get a 1vs1 skill and acb that hits 7 monster with CO . I just don't like that heroes can use enrage to attack 1 enemy. I really liked that my paladin had a 1vs1 skill but now heroes can do that too T_T, just makes me mad.
Yea but if we are stuck hitting 3 monsters forever.(Assuming coma/panic cycling is worse then spamming brave slash) Shouldnt we be the best in those types of mobs. We only beat you barely on fire weak anyway. If you look at it your not really using fire charge for anything otehr then BF the archer or cwkpq anyway in any training situation you would be using ice for oblvion 4 and holy for skeles. Both of which if im not mistaken beat out heros. |

|
kirayamato26 : Dark Knights are NOT in the top 5 even with Sacrifice. A Hero's raw average damage per hit (based on %'s) is 63.38673% higher and Combat Mastery allows them to ignore PDR 40% of the time. The DPM charts for Warriors just went from Heroes > Paladins > Dark Knights to something like Heroes > Paladins + Dark Knights post-BB. I think that Paladins will be something like 9th on that list, and Heroes will be like 7th. Warriors are not DPM classes. | Etrieys Is this counting all avaliable buffs to both classes (attk of course)? listing of ~ I/L: Spell mastery - +10mattk Meditate - +20mattk e-amp - 150% boost magic mastery - 30mattk Chain lightning - 740% damage, 15% crit chance Elquines - 330% dmg Evan : dragon soul - 20mattk spell mastery - 10mattk critical - +30% crit chance magic amp - 135% magic magic mastery - (the mastery is negligable, i agree) +30mattk, 15%min crit boost blessing of the onyx - +30 mattk Blaze - 800% dmg (other relitively useless stuff that doesnt matter at bossing) Im not damage calculator by any means, nor am I arguing or claming to be right. I'd acctually like some insight into this. Im looking at evans being better dps, though I'm not sure how to add the summon into the mix. Pure cl vs pure blaze, it seems to me blaze wins. With the extra 30mattk buff, 15% min crit and more crit rate than a I/L I really belive a Evan to be the stronger, at least in face value. Again, I dont know exactly how to add the summon in (though I did watch a few vids and was quite impressed with it) it just seemed to slow to acctually add value. Though I may be COMPLETELY wrong in my face value assumtions, just how I'm looking at it. Edit: crap forgot dragon fury. So that gives Evans more of a boost. |

| i believe heroes are that high up there and even though im likely to get flamed for biasness, look at it this way, brave salsh is stronger then brandish, same speed so think of our current brandish being stronger, then add 60% dmg to it. it seems to me like our dps should be pretty rad |

|
shenron : magic mastery - (the mastery is negligable, i agree) +30mattk, 15%min crit boost
+20% mastery is not neglectable. With the new damage formula, your average damage will basically be Max Damage * (100% + Mastery)/2. This means an Evan with 95% mastery (75%+20%) will have an average damage of 97.5% of their max. A normal mage is stuck with only 87.5%. This leaves Evan's at a 11.4% DPM advantage from mastery. You also should add in infinity for the normal mages, since it gives them an average DPM increase of 14.29%, or 21.43% with the AM/Bishop Magic Mastery. |
At the moment, I'm pretty sure pallys at ice weak mobs don't beat out heroes (they do at fire/holy weak though), but after bb patch heroes will beat pallys on fire/ice/thunder weak single target and mobs of 3. So...unless nexon implements some holy weakness in current bosses or puts in new holy weak bosses...idk, nexon finally makes it slightly fair for pallys after balance patch, and now they're going to take it away so w/e. gg. above Because when you're actually training/bossing in a party typically you don't drop a crapload of mesos on a monster. Unless it's a shad/cb soloing a monster. |
