So I always heard that merching will make good money, and after seeing an item worth 2b selling for 200m because the seller missed a '0', and not being able to take advantage of it because I was too poor - I decided to resort to merching. I try my best not to buy NX, but I do have some maple points to purchase a 1.8k NX shop permit. I can learn/generally find out the prices of items on my server (Broa) and I have a couple merching friends. Note: I have read quite a few merching guides. So please don't assume that I was ignorant and didnt educate myself before posting this. I just feel like I'm on the swing for the first time, and I need a push. So how exactly should I start merching? I have perhaps around 10~20m, access to APQ, and enough maple points to have a shop permit for 3 years. 1)What should I start selling? (I know for starters, my apples) 2)Where should I look to find good deals? (When buying) 3)How much higher should I sell than the average price? How quick is merching if I want to turn 40m into max mesos? Theoretically speaking of course. Thanks for the tips! I appreciate all advice and I admit that I haven't read ALL merching guides, so if you can post some guides that you found particularly useful, I'd like that.

hmm sorry bout earlier anyways maybe you should start looking for anything thats pretty cheap and start selling 200k extra? im just guessing i dont merch much hmm

@above Yeah, but with 200k profits and 16 slots for my shop permit, assuming I sell out I'll be making 3.2m every day. And I'm planning on going AFK in the FM for about 7 hours during the peak hours, so I'm not sure this is going to work out as fast as I want. Selling more expensive scrolls = higher profits, but how should I start? Be more specific if possible

Be more specific if possible [/quote] i guess this is true, but if your just starting out you gotta make small profits and build up. and you gotta find fm spots that are close to the door and have a good shop name and such. you can try selling potential equips if you have any

Ores, ores, and more ores. Also, get maker skill while you are at it since you can then make maker materials which sell for more than regular refined crystals/jewels. Bottom-line, save your ores, doesn't really contribute to day by day gain if you dont have a base set, but IMO it's worth it in the long run.

Well I dont really farm potential equips, but that is a good starter idea. I mean its going to be pure profits, because I'll be spending little-to-nothing on hunting, but honestly, its going to take a long time to find potential even WORTH selling. I'd prefer the "Buy low, sell high!" option, but I don't know where to hunt for the 'buy low'. From unsuspecting maplers, or from other FM shops, or from...? There's no competing with the scroll buying bots in the FM

Depending on your server population density, FM's channel 2 usually go well for me. I CC from FM 1 from channels 2-7 around there and FM 19 usually has people. They give good deals. I would start off with scrolls, they're cheap and affordable and people buy them. Equipments you probrably have to get used to them like I did. Beware of FM dc'ers though FM 1-6 I cant manage a spot because I would get disconected unless I have a mushie. Maybe not for others I have a crap laptop. You might not want to make 3m a day for thats too low. Well since you're starting its quite nice but you want to reach 10-20m or even farther That would be nicer. Good Luck! FM is full of cheap stuff, especially gachapwned sellers that sell items for 95% discounts

You might want to make an FM mule and leave it on while playing because it really sucks when all your friends are playing and you're stuck in your store in the fm

Sell some apples, and then start by buying GFA 60% scrolls for 1m less than average prices and resell in your store. Then start buying 8 ATK WG's along with the GFA's so you can make at least 4-5m profit with each WG. Edit: You should buy stuff for cheap prices in the FM entrance and sometimes you can find amazing deals just by browsing the rooms.

I can't answer with 40m, since I've never been placed in that situation before. But, according to past experiences, I've had a huge success on merching with 100m. Maybe not merching, but scrolling. Using 100m, I bought roughly 15 GFA 60%s. I briefly calculated how bad or good the outcome would be. I managed to scroll a 10 atk wg and an 8 atk, the others failing either one the 1st or 2nd slot. That was already around 150-160m, a net total of 50-60m profit. Like that, I continued to scroll. I sold the WG's, bought GFA's and repeated. Over a course of a month, I earned 1b cash. I know that it could have turned out much better or worse, but there's my experience. I'm sure many people do this, but it was positive on my part.

[/quote] i believe the TS said he has access to APQ meaning apples, so ores are good for starting from the bottom but i think the TS is a little above that. also i'd think refined items go better. i heard makering stuff can turn out really really good if you're lucky, like advanced diamond, but then again its hard to sell

Mostly scrolls. Gacha. Ilbis. Right now i recommend cheap enhancements/ chaos scrolls because they are on high demand. If you leave your charc afk over night i guarantee a quick sale

If you have a shop permit like that, is it better to make a mule, or is your main char okay (I dont want my main character being locked). Are there any restrictions for an FM mule? I know that a under level 15 or something cannot trade more than 1m a day? I'm @_@
