Do you like it? I used to just know some famous ones like the ones you'd hear on tv but my friends knew a lot cause they played violins. I started to get a little bit into it cause one of my teachers had a copy of "Classical music for dummies" on his computer and I had to read something about Lord Byron and it mentioned that his work was classical and that it meant that it appealed more to something rather than something I don't remember the whole details but it meant that the message was supposed to be more direct than subtle.

classical, in itself, is really vague. you have music from the baroque era, romantic, contemporary, etc. OT: i occasionally listen to it, and its a nice break from all the billboard top 10 songs on the radio.

I like a few classicals like Beethovan's Moonlight Sonata and such, but other than that I'm not that into classical. It's sorta ironic because I play the violin and piano, but I almost never play classical.

I love classical and instrumental, piano especially. It's great inspiration while I'm drawing.

"Classical" with the capital C refers to a specific time period...it's basically Mozart to early-Beethoven. Classical music in general shouldn't have the capital C unless you can't avoid it like at the beginning of a sentence. To people who think they're oh-so-refined since they like classical music, go to hell. Seriously. To consecrate yourself due to musical choices is stupid. Especially if you go "IM 12 AND I HAET RAP SINCE I FEEL LIKE BEING UNIQUE." Not accusing any of you, but I was trawling for videos, and I look at the comments, LO AND BEHOLD.

yes. in a way no one will ever understand until they experience it and grow with it, for sure. it's hard to pick a favourite composer/artist/piece. Chopin is the first composer who comes to mind, Krystian Zimerman is the first artist, and there are a million pieces, but moreso specific renditions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj7GZlY0fhE - Chopin Fantasy in F Minor.
