The Ultimate Scam: Stealing my deputy star

I was selling a deputy star at fm, when all of a sudden a message that only i could see came up on my screen, but it was fireworks styled. "GMpharaohSCA" was the name that said: gobblegut please come to the top of the fm. we chatted it up, and eventually he said that my star was made using an illegal program, he said to drop it and only he could see it. i did and it went flying directly at a character. he said that was indeed a gm that collected the star. i was confused as hell, but all of a sudden a guy said: dude you just got your star taken. How in the hell did this happen? I sent a ticket and of course nexon does nothing about it. can someone explain how that person made it so convincing?

There's a hack where somebody can create a messages disguising as a GM. You got scammed. GM's will never ask you to drop your items..

Its the hacks so called "Magic Whisper" you got tricked, remember GMS never ask for personal information neither item , if they wanted to go delete this item they would just search for your Logs

Maplestory owns your account FYI. If they wanted something from you they could take it at any second without question so why would a gm ask you for it?

GMs usually don't have GM in their names. Lol he told you to drop your star and when you did his mule vac hacked it.
